The Square

A sixth tab. Twenty of the people you have crossed paths with, standing about on a tiled floor that runs off the top of the screen, wandering, occasionally saying whatever their pass says.

• Your own Mii is always in it, so a console that has met nobody still has somewhere to be rather than an empty screen.
• A, or a tap, opens whoever the cursor is on. L and R inside a card then walk the crowd in the order they are standing, left to right.
• D-pad left and right move between people, X shuffles who turned up.

Mii maker

Eyebrow colour, glasses colour, facial hair colour and favourite colour now show swatches.

They read "1 of 8" before, which tells you nothing about a colour.
All eight colour rows are swatches now, and the long ones size themselves to fit rather than running under their own label.

Fixed

• The "update available" toast pointed at Settings -> Data. The update rows moved to Settings -> About and the toast had not followed.
