One more game in the games tab, and 8 more trophies - 80 in total.

The Quest

A tower with no top, climbed by the people you have crossed. Pick a party, watch the fight, take what the shadows drop, and see how far up you get before everybody falls.

  • The party comes out of your collection, and what somebody is worth comes off their pass: health, attack, defence, speed and wind from their Mii and how often you have crossed them, and their favourite colour decides whether they are a Guard, a Blade, a Spark or a Mender. Three go up, four once you have met ten people, five once you have met twenty-five.
  • The fight runs itself, a turn every half second, with a sweep at the whole party every fourth round. The shadow gets harder for ever, so how far up you got is the score.
  • Half the shadows leave gear behind - a weapon, armour, a ring or an accessory, common up to godlike - and two pieces of the same rank are never the same piece. Y equips the party, ZR opens the bag, ZL locks a piece so nothing can throw it away.
  • Every fifth floor, a blessing: three out of a pool of eighteen, kept for the rest of the climb.
  • A floor pays one coin the first time you reach it in a week, and the week turns on Monday, so ground you have already covered is worth climbing again. The gear, the deepest floor and the trophies never reset.
  • The shop sells whetstones, 40 coins, which roll a piece of gear again without changing its rank.

Improvements

  • Your record - Y on your pass opens a page of everything the plaza has kept: your collection, your pass, puzzles, coins, the best of every game and the trophy shelf.
  • The games shelf is reordered: the three games that keep a record first, the four that are one bet and over after them.
  • 206 new strings, all translated. Machine generated as before - feedback is welcomed !

Fixed

  • The shop's "earned - spent" line read the granted total alone, leaving out winnings, so a console that had won forty coins showed a balance forty higher than its own line could account for.
