2.1.0
PluginBlueprint 2.1.0 makes nodes easier to find and adds a node for writing your own Java.
New
- Search that finds what you mean. Double-click the canvas, or select the new Search button, and type a class name or a plain word such as "welcome", "chat", "give" or "variable". An exact class name comes first, and each result shows a short description and its package.
- Lists you can filter. A node's Outputs menu and long value lists, such as Material constants, open a list you can type into instead of a menu with hundreds of entries. The node's own class comes first.
- Java code node. Under code → Java code, write Java statements that run as part of your graph. Drop a link on the node to add a matching input or output, or add one from its menu and pick the type from a list. Compiler errors in your code point at the node. See Java code.
- Snippet warning. Importing a snippet that contains Java code nodes shows their code and asks before adding them.
Changed
- The help bar at the bottom stays until you have used the search once, and an empty canvas tells you to double-click.
- MakeArray takes its element type from the first value you connect.
- Opening a project saved with 2.0 no longer shows the "Different Editor Version" warning. It still appears for 1.x projects and for projects saved by a newer version.
- Deprecated methods and fields no longer appear in search and menus. Graphs that use them still load.
Projects saved with 2.0 open and build the same as before.
PluginBlueprint is free and open source. If it helps you, you can pay what you want.
