The polish release: the window is up before you finish letting go of the mouse, and every action that used to fail silently now says something.

Speed

• Instant startup — the tool list is seeded straight from disk and refreshed in the background, so the window opens fully populated instead of waiting on the network

Polish

• Deleting a car asks first, and confirms what it deleted
• "Check for updates now" tells you the outcome — up to date, staged, or failed — instead of leaving you guessing
• Download failures explain themselves in plain language; the raw error goes to Settings ▸ Log
• Empty-state hints on the Gearing pane and an empty Garage, so a fresh install isn't a blank panel
• Compare-car differences now use the app accent colour, readable in both themes
• Minimum sizes on the window and dialogs — no more shrinking the UI into unusable slivers
• About RC Central… in Settings ▸ Preferences, and keyboard mnemonics on the Garage buttons

Verify your download: certutil -hashfile RCCentral-windows-x64.exe SHA256 and compare with the matching .sha256 asset. Each binary also ships a raw 64-byte Ed25519 .sig, which the in-app updater checks automatically.
