Assignment #10: Second Draft Critique
It's common in any design environment to give and get feedback, so this will give you some experience on how to write feedback for your classmates. So this assignment will give you a chance to do that. You'll need to pay attention during the presentations to write good feedback. These assignments will be shared with the groups, so keep that in mind.
This assignment is due by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016.

Pick one of the projects in class (not yours), and look at the site. Try to put yourself in the mindset of a user who's coming to this to _________ (whatever their site does). Pick a thing or two to do, then do them, and then write feedback based on what you saw.
Here are the class project websites:
Do:
-
explain clearly your process to try to complete your task(s);
-
explain any roadblocks or issues you ran into along the way;
-
explain how design element helped or hindered you in reaching your goals;
-
take screenshots along the way and include them;
-
offer suggestions/examples from other sites when appropriate;
-
offer feedback that's useful (it would be better if ______)
Don't:
-
be abrasive or rude;
-
test things that are outside the scope of the site;
-
offer useless feedback (I don't like ______)
Write your critique on Medium, or your personal blog if you have one, and include screenshots of your process. Be sure to include the URL of the project you tested. If you have other suggested sites to look at, or solutions to try, include those as well.
Send your link to Elizabeth and Rob via DM on Slack.
Note: Assignments not turned in by deadline will drop a letter grade for each day late.
Pick another group's website to critique. Critique it, and post your critique on Medium. Worth 25 points, 2.5 percent of your semester grade.
