Assignment #1: Join Slack and Github

This will be the easiest 20 points of the semester. Slack, Github and Atom are industry tools that we will be using in this course.
This will be due by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21. If you get stuck at any part, please reach out.

- Make a Github account*
- Watch this repository
- Download Github Desktop
*Already have a Github account? Awesome. No need to make another one, just use the one you already have.
Be sure to choose a username that won't embarrass you in 5 years. Should you choose to go into design / development, you'll probably build upon this account.
- Check your student email
- Find email invite: "Rob has invited you to join J4502 Slack!"
- Make an account
- If you have a Mac, I highly recommend downloading their Mac App.
- Make sure to fill out your first and last name.
- Add a profile picture
- Introduce yourself on the #hello-world channel:
- Where you're from
- What you're studying
- What you hope to get out of this course
- If you could automate one thing in your life, what would you choose?
- Github username
- Download Atom
Once you've sent me your Github username, I'll add you to the this Organization. You'll receive an email notification. Once you've joined, I'll be able to give you credit for this assignment. 👍
