MCP 1.12.0

Choose a tag to compare

@JHarp199345 JHarp199345 released this 12 Oct 09:33

MCP server 1.12.0 (124 tools). Planning reads answer with a brief and sections on request; get_program, get_coaching_review, get_programming and apply_program are compact by default (detail=true for everything); the instructions are a short core with topic guides (get_guide). New: design_lift_session and lifting classifiers in describe_lift_structure. Install everything with uvx s-bike-training-hub@latest, or this bundle in Claude Desktop. Use with app 1.12.0.

App 1.12.0 — Plan by hand, your reports decide, lifting classifiers

2026-10-12. Use with MCP 1.12.0.

Update: if you installed with uvx s-bike-training-hub@latest, restart your assistant app. Claude Desktop bundle users: install s-bike-hub-mcp-1.12.0.mcpb from the release.

Plan by hand on a day grid

Each phase is a Monday-to-Sunday grid of its days: click or shift-click days and pick a session type; copy, paste and fill forward with a preview before anything is replaced; undo and redo. Saved workouts show on it.

One goal field

Type a goal, or paste an event's web address and the hub fills in the name, the peak date, the planning horizon and the sport.

Your program on the calendar

Planned sessions show faded on every day until the week's workouts are written.

Your reports decide

The daily verdicts come from what you report (feet, legs, shoulders, breathing, illness, the overnight watch reading). Load ratios, recovery blocks and lifting carry-over are shown as evidence to weigh. Two sessions on the same tissue in a day are a caution judged by the combined load.

Lifting by type, duration, intensity and style

Sessions are described by how many muscle groups they work, exercises per group, intensity (light 30-60%, medium 61-80%, heavy 81-105% of each lift's estimated max; never maxing) and style, each lift judged against what you moved last time. The assistant designs a session in one call and the hub suggests the intensity from your phase and your own responses.

A faster assistant connection

Planning reads come as a short brief with sections on request; programs and reviews are compact by default; the server's instructions are a short core with topic guides. The same planning conversation uses about a fifth of the data.

Hub-logged lifts take session reports

No watch file needed.

App 1.11.0 — One-line install, assistant-led setup and evidence-led planning

2026-10-11. Use with MCP 1.11.0.

Install in one line

The whole hub (app, web pages and MCP server) is now one package on PyPI, s-bike-training-hub:

claude mcp add --scope user s-bike-hub -- uvx s-bike-training-hub

Ask your assistant to set you up: the MCP server starts the hub by itself when it isn't running. uvx runs the latest release, so updates arrive automatically. A packaged install keeps your data in your own data folder (macOS ~/Library/Application Support/S-Bike Hub), never in the app. GitHub installs are unchanged: their data stays exactly where it is.

Included

  • Assistant-led setup. The welcome page introduces the hub, shows whether your assistant is connected, and offers a prompt to copy. The assistant walks you through your basics, a short health check, sports and experience, your current routine and your goal, one question at a time. The manual form remains, under "No assistant? Set up by hand", and now has a gender field.
  • Health and history. A short pre-exercise health check in the hub's own words, following the ACSM's 2015 screening logic (no doctor needed; check before vigorous training; check before starting; or pause and see a doctor). Conditions, past and current injuries, medications that change heart rate and what a clinician advised can be recorded. The assistant plans around them. It never diagnoses or clears anyone.
  • Two-pass planning. Pass 1 lays out the season as placeholder sessions (sport, role improve or maintain, a minutes band, lifting joint groups). Pass 2 plans the coming week's workouts on request, from your weekly volumes, your reports (a 45-day trend plus the last 7 days word for word) and an evidence playbook. Calendar drafts show a "mirror": the drafted week against your recent weeks.
  • Improvement beyond volume. Each session's efficiency (pace or power per heartbeat), matched with your closest earlier session of similar duration, with heart-rate drift and, if you turn it on, the day's air temperature.
  • Holds come from your reports. Running is held only for symptoms you've reported and not yet resolved, a check-in reporting feet or legs at 7/10 or more or pain at a site at 5/10 or more, or a waiting period you chose. Model readings, hop tests and checklists are shown as evidence, not rules.
  • Lifting by joints. The joint framework (upper: shoulder, elbow, wrist; trunk: spine, hip; lower: knee, ankle), load levels and session shapes, for the assistant to compose original sessions.

New MCP tools

get_setup_status, save_athlete_basics, get_health_history, record_health_history, get_planning_context, set_sport_baseline, get_lifting_framework, describe_lift_structure.

Privacy

Your records stay on your computer. The optional air-temperature lookup is off until you turn it on; it sends only a place rounded to about 10 km and a date to Open-Meteo, and caches the answer locally. Health records are kept locally like everything else. No athlete records, personal workouts, design notes or unreleased scenery are included in this release.

MCP 1.10.0

@JHarp199345 JHarp199345 released this 09 Oct 10:52

MCP 1.10.0

Pair this extension with App 1.10.1 (or newer). App 1.10.1 includes the Windows watch-import correction; the extension archive is unchanged. The manifest lists all 114 assistant tools.

  • Preview and record completed strength workouts through the same text parser used by the Hub, including planned/reported effort and set corrections.
  • Import and explicitly associate watch recordings with scheduled workouts, new sessions or bike recordings; preserve measurement sources and count linked sessions once.
  • Save recorded workouts to the library across sports, including swimming.
  • Record optional athlete-reported individual drill times without altering combined watch measurements.
  • Read the shared activity reports, swim timing comparisons and library history.

The release archive was tested with the stock Python runtime against an isolated Hub. Restart the Hub when no workout is active, then update/reinstall the extension to load the new tools. Athlete records and the unfinished Halloween world are excluded.

App 1.10.2: editable workouts and clearer swim comparisons

@JHarp199345 JHarp199345 released this 09 Oct 20:36

App 1.10.2 — Editable planned workouts and clearer swim comparisons

Released 2026-10-09. Use with MCP 1.10.0 (114 tools); the extension archive is unchanged.

Changes

  • Unfinished Today workout cards have a pencil that reopens the shared section-text editor across supported sports. Save updates the selected session in place; completed workouts, neighboring recording links and route settings are protected.
  • Plan swim details use a larger credited front/back body-map donut and aligned panels. Estimated intensity stays a five-item vertical key on the left, with stroke distance on the right.
  • Compact swim history uses closely spaced vertical columns with chronological dates below, a fixed stroke/work order and shared scales. Distance and percentage views work by session or day over 5/10/20/30/40/60/90 days. Compare stacks Planned above Watch detection.
  • Planned includes a recorded written workout description when available, otherwise the saved plan captured at watch association. The underlying sources remain distinct. Missing descriptions are not inferred from unrelated library workouts.
  • Named drills use diagonal slashes over their stroke color. Work detail is visible by default and can be hidden; kick/pull retain distinct patterns. Unknown watch drills stay unresolved. Thin zero markers add no distance and do not change percentages or actual segment heights.
  • Distance-based swim calendar completion checks use recorded versus prescribed distance, allowing rounding differences. Finishing full distance sooner than estimated duration gets a full check. Duration-based sessions retain time-based checks.
  • Fitness Dashboard stroke stacks and legends share the same hierarchy. Wider dashboard bars remain optional follow-up polish.

Verification and scope

108 Python suites and 17 JavaScript suites pass locally; the paused recovery-calibration suite is skipped. Completed-session protection fixtures include a recorded duration so they exercise specific-session matching. Browser checks covered stacked comparison, persistent controls, typed drill patterns, zero markers and narrow-screen scrolling without page overflow. Release checks passed on macOS, Windows and Linux; physical-bike verification on Linux/Windows and a physical-bike soak test remain open.

README swim screenshots render actual Hub components with synthetic examples. Existing body-map, mapping and artwork credits and licenses are retained. Personal athlete records, watch/ride files, credentials, private screenshots and the unfinished Halloween planet/game are excluded.

Restart the Hub when no workout is active and refresh Coach after updating. Keep MCP extension version 1.10.0.
