Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.5
macOS v0.3.5
正式 macOS 14+ Apple Silicon(arm64)维护发布。修复双额度标题栏中百分比与重置时间之间的明确 · 分隔符,并保留 5 小时/7 天两行的固定列对齐。
This formal macOS 14+ Apple Silicon (arm64) maintenance release restores the explicit · separator between each quota percentage and reset time while retaining stable two-row 5-hour/7-day alignment.

DMG SHA-256: fd55bb659de21ffc1e378a8d2e281050f40ed0aac0317e3d05e53752c6642492
The DMG is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Verify the checksum before opening; if Gatekeeper blocks the raw asset, right-click it in Finder and choose Open.
Windows is unchanged and remains available from v0.3.3.
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.4 Windows prerelease
Windows v0.3.4 prerelease
This prerelease is built from the Windows startup and selector-catalog fix in ec28ae97768bdb908cba5688b3d969371b4a0899 (ec28ae9).
Included fixes
- Ships a schema-v2 selector catalog instead of the incompatible legacy schema-v1
device-testcatalog. - Falls back to the built-in safe catalog when a packaged catalog is invalid, so the host does not exit before the HTTPS updater can run.
- Includes a signed HTTPS compatibility-pack configuration using a P-256 public key.
Validation status
quick-prerelease;realDeviceValidated: false.- Package, embedded payload, runtime tests, and signed compatibility pack were verified locally.
- Run the installer on Windows 11 with Codex open, then report the result before promoting this build to a formal stable release.
The installer is unsigned; an Unknown publisher warning is expected after the SHA-256 matches. Do not disable SmartScreen or antivirus protections.
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.3
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.3
Published assets are available from the v0.3.3 GitHub Release.
Windows ARM64 is not supported.
macOS assets
- Installer:
codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.3-macos-arm64.dmg - Checksums:
MACOS-V033-SHA256SUMS.txt - Provenance:
MACOS-V033-PROVENANCE.json
The macOS asset supports macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon. It is not notarized; verify the DMG before
opening it and, if Gatekeeper blocks the raw release asset, right-click it in Finder and choose
Open. The provenance file binds the packaged installer and companion digests to the exact
source commit.
Windows assets
- Installer:
codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.3-windows-x64-setup.exe - Checksums:
WINDOWS-V033-SHA256SUMS.txt - Provenance:
WINDOWS-V033-PROVENANCE.json - Signed compatibility pack:
codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.3-windows-compatibility-pack.zip
Verify the installer before running it. The setup is intentionally unsigned and Windows may show
Unknown publisher after the checksum matches; do not disable Defender, SmartScreen, antivirus,
or system policy.
Installer SHA-256:
5b04ef785c4e16715146986f5b293694029dc3ec8cf72a32e84bc16c1636ed08
Compatibility pack SHA-256:
5610ff247e7d4d9cd1409c460855a3016a76d2a0221351b235f38ba7fe44f9e6
Compatibility and safety
The installer embeds the schema-v2 selector catalog and a P-256 public key. It checks the HTTPS
compatibility pack before accepting a remote selector catalog; an unavailable or invalid update
keeps the packaged or previously validated catalog. Users do not edit selectors.json or perform
manual Codex-version adaptation.
The selector no longer rejects a Codex build solely because its file version changed. It still
requires a safe semantic UI Automation titlebar structure and hides the overlay when the structure
cannot be proven safe instead of guessing coordinates.
Highlights
- macOS renders independent 5-hour and 7-day quota labels, gradient bars, and reset countdowns;
- the Token chart follows the longest available quota cycle, normally the seven-day secondary window;
- the macOS detail card keeps its titlebar anchor and fixed width while a centered footer grip
smoothly resizes the scrollable details area; - card content continues to include account identity, Credits, Bank expiry rows, theme-aware icons,
localized Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese/English text, and the GitHub footer link.
Validation and provenance

The macOS Swift suite, native visual fixtures, local app-server probe, companion signing and bundle
checks, plugin validation, public-repository validation, and DMG mount/signature checks are rerun
for the appended macOS asset. Its exact source commit is written to MACOS-V033-PROVENANCE.json.
See installation and operations, agent installation,
and troubleshooting for installation, repair, status, and recovery steps.
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.2
v0.3.2
- Windows 11 AMD64/x64 release asset built locally from the v0.3.2 branch.
- Download the unsigned setup only after verifying WINDOWS-V032-SHA256SUMS.txt.
- WINDOWS-V032-PROVENANCE.json records the source commit, payload digest, runtime binding, and quick-prerelease validation profile.
- The full 130-case Windows manual real-device matrix is not claimed by this release.
- Windows ARM64 is not supported.
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.1
v0.3.1
- Fixes a titlebar overlap bug when conversation edit-file content scrolls into the titlebar.
- Scrolled content is no longer treated as a native titlebar anchor.
- Publishes the repaired companion payload, Apple Silicon macOS DMG, and source payload ZIP.
The macOS DMG is signed with an ad-hoc signature and is not notarized. Verify the SHA-256 file before opening it. Windows remains available through the existing v0.3.0 Windows x64 release asset; this patch does not rebuild the Windows installer.
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.0
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.0
Release assets and scope
- Windows x64:
codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.0-windows-x64-setup.exe, withWINDOWS-V030-SHA256SUMS.txt. - Windows signing state:
NotSigned. This is a Windows 11 AMD64/x64-only setup; Windows ARM64 is not supported. - macOS arm64:
codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.0-macos-arm64.dmgfor Apple Silicon on macOS 14 or later.
Verify the Windows setup SHA-256 before launch. A matching digest permits the documented
SmartScreen continuation for Unknown publisher; a mismatching digest must not be run.
Windows visual and behavior updates
- Places the compact quota indicator in the active task content header beside Codex's Open location control, with a validated narrow-window fallback.
- Keeps the overlay hidden for unknown UI Automation structures after an upgrade; the approved fallback requires official host, valid quota, and Codex build
151.0.7922.76. - Matches Codex light and dark themes and uses the same fixed quota spectrum as macOS.
Validation boundary
This official v0.3.0 publication promotes the exact Windows x64 and macOS arm64 candidate bytes
from the successful v0.3.0 branch candidate run. Windows setup signing remains NotSigned; users
must verify SHA-256 before running it and should expect the SmartScreen Unknown publisher path.
The 130-case Windows manual matrix is incomplete, and local setup lifecycle validation is not
claimed for this publication. The Windows overlay hides itself for unknown or unsupported UI
Automation structures instead of guessing coordinates.
Immutable macOS history
The macOS v0.2.3 application, its DMG, provenance, and release workflow are immutable history and
are not overwritten by this v0.3.0 Windows release.
v0.2.3
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.2.3
This refreshed v0.2.3 build fixes adaptive titlebar placement across full-screen and wide right-pane layouts without changing the public version.
Placement fixes
- Keeps the quota button in the center titlebar while a complete collision-free slot remains.
- Measures the final realized geometry against Open Location, static tab titles, and native titlebar controls.
- Progressively expands the accessibility scan as the candidate moves left, with a four-pass bound.
- Moves to the existing safe right-titlebar fallback as soon as center space is insufficient.
- Rejects oversized outer content surfaces so a wide right pane is not mistaken for the center titlebar.
- Preserves the exact spacing when left, right, or both sidebars change width.
Installer reliability
- The v0.2.3 DMG now embeds the exact source commit that produced it.
- A signed payload marker prevents build/package ref mismatches and reinstalling an older binary.
- Release ZIP, DMG, checksums, and provenance are promoted together from successful main CI run 31502230606.
Validation
- 194 Swift tests passed.
- Lifecycle, signing, bundle-version, SDK, public-repository, and installer negative-package gates passed.
- The published DMG payload marker and installer provenance both resolve to main merge commit
a72b4636ddf99fa4c1d4660b3e281376be361711.
The macOS installer is not notarized. If Gatekeeper blocks the first launch, right-click the installer in Finder and choose Open.
v0.2.2
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.2.2
Version 0.2.2 makes reset and Bank expiry countdowns faster to scan while preserving the native,
compact Codex popover style.
Highlights
- Enlarges and strengthens the numeric portions of intervals such as
(5d21h)and(2d6h). - Uses the live quota color for interval digits, matching the percentage and quota state.
- Keeps
d,h,m, parentheses, and past-time suffixes smaller and muted. - Preserves one-line reset and Bank dates without adding a capsule, background, border, or extra
card width. - Applies the same semantic hierarchy in Codex light and dark themes.
- Preserves Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English formatting.
Validation
The release adds compact-duration segmentation regressions for full-width and ASCII parentheses,
future and past intervals, Bank status suffixes, and non-duration values. The release payload is
promoted from the exact successful GitHub Actions artifact and recorded in
assets/PROVENANCE.json.
v0.2.1
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.2.1
Version 0.2.1 fixes live language switching when Codex has an explicit language selected in
General settings.
Highlights
- Treats Codex's explicit Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or English selection as the
authoritative language. - Avoids falling back to a stale renderer locale after a manual language switch.
- Preserves Auto behavior by using the effective running renderer locale when no explicit override
exists. - Keeps unsupported languages mapped to English.
- Continues refreshing visible and pinned quota content without requiring a plugin reinstall.
Resolution order
- Explicit Codex desktop language override.
- Effective locale of the running Codex renderer when language is Auto.
- Codex Preferences during startup.
- macOS preferred language during startup.
Validation
The release adds regression coverage for explicit-over-Auto precedence, the real [desktop] TOML
layout, malformed and unrelated values, live configuration rereads, and Auto fallback behavior.
The release payload is promoted from the exact successful GitHub Actions artifact and recorded in
assets/PROVENANCE.json.
v0.2.0
Codex Usage Sidebar v0.2.0
Version 0.2.0 adds automatic multilingual UI and click-to-pin details without changing the fixed
8-point Open Location placement or the external companion architecture.
Highlights
- Follows Codex's effective Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or English locale.
- Correctly follows the final language selected by Codex when its language setting is Auto.
- Displays English for every unsupported locale.
- Updates visible and pinned content within one second of an effective language change.
- Pins the quota card on click and closes it on the next click while retaining hover behavior.
- Localizes labels, dates, relative intervals, plans, Bank details, statuses, and empty states.
- Reports the mapped language and source without persisting raw process arguments.
Resolution order
- Effective locale of the running Codex renderer.
- Codex Preferences during startup.
- macOS preferred language during startup.
The running renderer is authoritative because it contains the locale Codex is actually using after
Auto or a manual selection has been resolved.
Validation
The release is covered by resolver, preferences parser, process selector, localization, runtime
state, formatter, layout, interaction, transport, signing, SDK, and install-control tests. The
marketplace payload is promoted from the exact GitHub Actions artifact and recorded in
assets/PROVENANCE.json before release.
