Codex Usage Sidebar v0.3.3

Published assets are available from the v0.3.3 GitHub Release.
Windows ARM64 is not supported.

macOS assets

  • Installer: codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.3-macos-arm64.dmg
  • Checksums: MACOS-V033-SHA256SUMS.txt
  • Provenance: MACOS-V033-PROVENANCE.json

The macOS asset supports macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon. It is not notarized; verify the DMG before
opening it and, if Gatekeeper blocks the raw release asset, right-click it in Finder and choose
Open. The provenance file binds the packaged installer and companion digests to the exact
source commit.

Windows assets

  • Installer: codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.3-windows-x64-setup.exe
  • Checksums: WINDOWS-V033-SHA256SUMS.txt
  • Provenance: WINDOWS-V033-PROVENANCE.json
  • Signed compatibility pack: codex-usage-sidebar-v0.3.3-windows-compatibility-pack.zip

Verify the installer before running it. The setup is intentionally unsigned and Windows may show
Unknown publisher after the checksum matches; do not disable Defender, SmartScreen, antivirus,
or system policy.

Compatibility and safety

The installer embeds the schema-v2 selector catalog and a P-256 public key. It checks the HTTPS
compatibility pack before accepting a remote selector catalog; an unavailable or invalid update
keeps the packaged or previously validated catalog. Users do not edit selectors.json or perform
manual Codex-version adaptation.

The selector no longer rejects a Codex build solely because its file version changed. It still
requires a safe semantic UI Automation titlebar structure and hides the overlay when the structure
cannot be proven safe instead of guessing coordinates.

Highlights

  • macOS renders independent 5-hour and 7-day quota labels, gradient bars, and reset countdowns;
  • the Token chart follows the longest available quota cycle, normally the seven-day secondary window;
  • the macOS detail card keeps its titlebar anchor and fixed width while a centered footer grip
    smoothly resizes the scrollable details area;
  • card content continues to include account identity, Credits, Bank expiry rows, theme-aware icons,
    localized Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese/English text, and the GitHub footer link.

Validation and provenance

  • macOS arm64 installer source commit: 4d6bc3f0feefbeaa082524ff0cfdedef0f2fc49f
  • macOS arm64 DMG SHA-256: 27a92e57c428ce03566894b15c16dac814b0fd83df0ab2d633404e73f884be72
  • Windows tested source commit: dfce4e6a93d7442e267868d8716cf882791f6155
  • Windows evidence-only packaging commit: 8a97e9131c36db0f6f7cf6f815235d2edae9eac3
  • Windows 11 x64 real-device evidence: 85/85 cases passed
  • Release setup: current-user installation, no administrator privileges required
  • Official Codex runtime: rust-v0.147.0, x64 Windows build

The macOS Swift suite, native visual fixtures, local app-server probe, companion signing and bundle
checks, plugin validation, public-repository validation, and DMG mount/signature checks are rerun
for the appended macOS asset. Its exact source commit is written to MACOS-V033-PROVENANCE.json.
