๐ŸŒ Community Creations

Community Creations is where players share what they make. You can download worlds, entities, dictionaries, avatars and prompt presets, like them, and comment on them. With an account, you can publish your own work and enter contests.

Browsing and downloading need no account. Comments, follows, Reports and publishing need you to log in.

How to Download a World

  1. On the main menu, select Community Creations.
  2. If the Adult Content Ahead dialog opens, read it and select Accept.
  3. On the Worlds tab, select a world's card. Its details window opens.
  4. Under Linked Content, check the add-ons you want, if the world has any.
  5. Select Download World. With add-ons or required content, the button counts them: Download World + 3 Items.

The world goes into your library. To play it, see How to Start a Game. To download from the card, select the cloud button on its image.

How to Publish a World

  1. Log in. See Login and Register.
  2. On the main menu, open the library's Worlds tab and select your world. The world dialog opens.
  3. Select Publish World. The Publish World dialog opens.
  4. Keep Publish as new world selected.
  5. Under Linked Content, check Include as required for each source players must download with the world. See Publishing a World.
  6. Select Publish.

The listing takes its name, description, image and tags from the world itself. Set them in the World Editor before you publish. See What a Listing Shows.

How to Update a Listing

  1. Open the item's publish dialog. For a world, select Publish World in the world dialog. For other kinds, see Where to Publish Each Kind.
  2. Under Or update existing world:, select your listing.
  3. Optional: select Describe What Changed, write a Changelog Entry, and select Attach to Update.
  4. Select Publish.

The listing gets your current version. Players who downloaded it see that an update is available. To add an entry to the Listing Changelog without a new version, open your listing and select Add Entry.

How to Enter a Contest

  1. While a contest runs, start How to Publish a World.
  2. In the Publish World dialog, find the contest card. Select Contest Rules to read the rules.
  3. Turn on the contest switch.
  4. Select Publish & Enter.

You can enter one world per contest. Only a world can enter. To enter a world you already published, select it under Or update existing world: and turn on the switch. To enter a different world, select Withdraw Entry on the contest card first.

How to Report a Listing

  1. Log in.
  2. Open the listing's details window.
  3. Select Report This World. The button names the kind, such as Report This Entity.
  4. Under What is wrong with it, select a reason.
  5. Optional: write what staff should know in Anything else (optional).
  6. Select Send Report.

To report a comment, select its Report comment button. To report a person, open their profile and select Report Profile.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. On the main menu, select the round User Profile button at the bottom left.
  2. Select the Settings tab, then select Delete Account.
  3. Read what happens, and select Continue.
  4. Select Delete My Work or Keep My Work, and select Continue.
  5. Type your password and select Delete My Account.

You are logged out immediately. The account is erased seven days later. To cancel, log in before that day. See Account Deletion.

How to Report a Bug or Suggest Something

  1. Log in.
  2. On the main menu, select the round Feedback button at the bottom left.
  3. Open the Bugs or Suggestions tab.
  4. Select Report a Bug or Suggest Something.
  5. Fill in Title, Category and the description.
  6. Select Send Report or Send Suggestion.

In a game, Send Feedback in the menu opens the form directly. See Bugs and Suggestions.

Opening Community Creations

Select Community Creations on the main menu. The window opens on the Worlds tab. The Back button closes it.

The Adult Content Ahead dialog opens first, every time until you accept it.

The Adult Content Warning

Choice What happens
Accept You confirm that you are at least 18 and of legal age to view adult content where you live. Community Creations opens.
Decline Community Creations stays closed, and the app clears the community listings and images it saved on this device. If you are logged in, you are logged out. Your library and your worlds don't change.

The dialog has no close button. After Decline, the app asks again the next time you open Community Creations. It also opens before Login, and again when the warning's text changes.

Browsing

The Tabs

Tab What it holds
Worlds Complete worlds to play.
Entities Entities to add to your library and your games.
Dictionaries Dictionaries that teach the AI a world's terms.
Avatars 3D avatars for any world.
Prompts Prompt presets that change how the AI writes.
Contest The entries of a contest. It shows only while a contest exists. See Contests.

On a wide screen the tabs are a side rail on the left, below the search and filters. Select Collapse at the bottom of the rail to show only icons, and Expand to show the names again. In portrait, select the Sections bar under the header to open the tab list. It has the same order and lines as the rail.

Search, Sort and Filters

Type in the search box to match names and descriptions. Select the Refresh catalog button to load new listings.

The sort menu offers Last Updated, Creation Date, Downloads and Likes. The button beside it switches between Descending and Ascending. The Updates first checkbox puts listings with an update for you at the top.

The Add Filter button opens these filters:

Filter What it keeps
Status Liked, Downloaded, Not Downloaded, Has Update, or Mine. Liked and Mine show when you are logged in.
Authors Listings by the authors you pick.
Tags Listings with the tags you pick. Match Any keeps a listing with one of them; Match All needs every one.
Models On the Prompts tab, presets made for the models you pick.

Each filter becomes a chip in the bar. Select a chip's remove button to drop it. The Clear button drops every chip and the search text. A listing must match every chip.

You can also type a filter in the search box: author:, tag: or status:, and model: on the Prompts tab. A space or Enter turns it into a chip. Each tab keeps its own filters, and they stay after you close the app.

In portrait, sort, refresh and filters are behind the Filters button. A badge on it shows how many filters are on.

Hiding Listings

Hide what you don't want to see:

  • Select the eye button on a card to hide that listing.
  • Select a card's author name to hide everything by that author.
  • Select a tag on a card to hide everything with that tag.

The Hidden button lists what you hid, by tag, author and listing. Remove one to show it again, or select Reset all. Hiding applies to every tab.

The Details Window

Select a card to open its details window. It shows the image, Author, Downloads, Likes, Created, Updated, the description and tags. A prompt preset also shows its Models and the Formamorph version it was made for. An avatar shows its license terms.

Part What it does
The main button Downloads the listing. See Downloading and Updating.
Linked Content On a world, the content it requires and the add-ons it offers. See Downloading a World.
Compatible Worlds On an entity or a dictionary, the worlds it is offered for. See A Listing's Compatible Worlds.
Changelog | Comments Switches the right column between the Listing Changelog and Comments.
Report This World Opens a Report. See Reports and Outcomes.

Select the author's name to open their profile. Select the image to see it full size. The button at the top switches between one and two columns, and the window keeps your choice.

The Listing Changelog

The Listing Changelog is the author's update history for a listing. It lists entries newest first, each with a title, a date and what changed. Editing it doesn't mark the listing as updated, and it never goes into a download.

Changelog is dimmed until the listing has entries. When it has entries and an update is waiting for your copy, the window opens on Changelog.

On your own listing, select Add Entry. Fill in Title, Date and What Changed, and select Add Entry. Set the date back to log an earlier update. Each entry has edit and delete buttons. A Listing Changelog holds 100 entries.

Downloading and Updating

What a Download Does

Kind Where it goes
World A new copy in your library's Worlds tab, with the content it requires and the add-ons you checked.
Entity, Dictionary Your library. A second download replaces the copy you have.
Avatar Your library's Avatars tab.
Prompt Settings โ†’ Prompts. Select Use This Preset to switch to it.

A toast says when the download is done. A prompt preset that adds a script Tool warns you first. Read the script in the Tools tab. See Tools.

On formamorph.ai, the download button saves the file to your device instead. Prompt presets download only in the app. The website has no Hidden list and no Reports.

When an Update Is Available

A listing has an update when the author published a newer version after your download. Its card gets a colored border, and the main button reads Update Available. The Has Update filter finds them all.

For a world, the button asks what to do:

Choice What happens
Download a copy Adds the new version as a separate world. Your copy stays.
Update an existing copy Replaces your copy with the new version. With several copies, you pick one. An edited copy loses your changes.

When the world has linked content, Update This World opens next. See Update This World.

For an entity, a dictionary or a prompt preset you edited, the app asks first. Downloading again replaces your copy, and your changes are lost.

Likes

Select the heart on a card or in the details window to like a listing. Select it again to take the Like back. Likes sorts by them, and the Liked filter finds what you liked.

Your own listing shows its count with no heart to press. In the game, a card can also ask you to like a world you play. See The Like Prompt.

Anonymous Likes and Claim

In the app, you can like a listing without an account. That is an Anonymous Like. It belongs to this copy of the app, its Install, and it counts the same as a Like. If the heart asks you to log in instead, log in to add your Like.

When you log in, your Anonymous Likes move to your account. That move is the Claim. It runs on its own and shows nothing.

On formamorph.ai, the heart asks you to log in.

Hidden Counts in a Contest

A contest entry shows its count as โ€” until staff announce the winners. The tooltip says You'll see likes after staff announce the winners. The heart still likes and unlikes the entry. The author and staff see the number.

Comments

The details window's Comments view lists the newest comment first.

Action How
Post Type in Leave a comment... and select Post Comment. Markdown works, up to 4000 characters.
Edit Select the pencil on your own comment, change it, and select Save. An edited comment shows ยท edited.
Delete Select the trash button. You can delete your own comments, and any comment on your own listings.
Report Select the Report comment button on someone else's comment.

Comments have no replies. Load more shows older comments. You must log in to comment. On formamorph.ai, comments are read-only.

Profiles and Following

An Author's Profile

Select an author's or a commenter's name to open their profile. It shows their profile image, Member since, and their followers, Likes and downloads. Their creations are grouped by kind. Select one to open it in Community Creations.

Select Follow to follow the author. Following means you already do; select it to stop. Report Profile sends a Report about the person.

The Follow Feed

The Notifications tab of your User Profile dialog is the follow feed. It lists each new listing and update from the people you follow. Select a name to open that listing.

Following lists the people you follow, with an unfollow button for each.

Publishing

Where to Publish Each Kind

You must log in to publish. Each kind opens the same publish dialog from its own place.

Kind Where to start
World The world dialog โ†’ Publish World.
Entity The library entity editor โ†’ Publish.
Dictionary The library dictionary editor โ†’ Publish.
Avatar Right-click the avatar in the library's Avatars tab โ†’ Publish, or the avatar's details โ†’ Publish.
Prompt Settings โ†’ Prompts โ†’ Publish. See How to Publish a Prompt Preset.

A bundled world must be edited before you can publish it. An entity or a dictionary publishes what is on screen, saved or not.

The Publish Dialog

Part What it does
Publish as new world Makes a new listing. Selected each time the dialog opens.
Or update existing world: Replaces one of your listings of the same kind. Each row shows its download count.
Changelog Entry On an update, adds an entry to the Listing Changelog once the update is published.
Linked Content On a world, sets what players download with it. See Publishing a World.
Listing On an entity or a dictionary, Public or Unlisted. See Publishing an Entity or a Dictionary.
Compatible Worlds On an entity, a dictionary or a prompt preset, offers it as an add-on for a world.
The contest card On a world, while a contest runs. See How to Enter a Contest.

A warning shows when an image uses a Discord link, because those links stop working.

What a Listing Shows

The dialog has no name or description fields. The listing reads them from the item:

Kind Name Description Image Tags
World World Name Player-Facing Description Thumbnail Tags
Entity Its name Its player description, or its AI summary Its first image Tags
Dictionary Its name Its description Cover Image Tags
Avatar The title in the VRM file The authors the file names Its image None
Prompt The preset name Description in Overview None Tags

Each kind has a publish limit: a world 100 MB, an entity 25 MB, a dictionary 5 MB, an avatar 64 MB, and a prompt preset 1 MB.

Publishing an Avatar

An avatar must carry a Permissive License in its file. Without it, a toast names what is missing. The default avatar can't be published. See The Permissive License.

Publishing a Prompt Preset

The steps are in How to Publish a Prompt Preset. In the dialog, a preset has Compatible Worlds but no Listing choice.

Publishing Terms

Staff can set terms that you accept before you publish. The dialog opens the first time you publish. Accept lets you publish. Decline turns off publishing until you accept them in the Terms tab of your User Profile.

Your tags can also raise a notice before publishing. Select Continue to publish or Cancel to change them.

Deleting a Listing

Select the trash button on your own card in Community Creations. Then select Confirm in the Delete Published World dialog. The server deletes the listing, and you can't undo it. Players who downloaded it keep their copies.

Deleting a world from your library does not delete its listing.

Contests

The Contest tab lists the entries of one contest. When several contests exist, pick one in the Contest menu. Rules opens the contest's rules.

Contest Phases

Phase The status line What you can do
Open N days left to enter Enter a world and like entries. Entries show in a shuffled order.
Judging Closed โ€ฆ being judged Like entries. No new entries. The order stays shuffled.
Results Won by โ€ฆ Read the results. Like counts show again. Entries can't be withdrawn.

To take your world out of a contest, select the ticket button on its card and then Withdraw It. The listing stays published with its Likes and comments. After staff announce the results, no entry can be withdrawn.

Results and the Podium

Staff announce the results. The podium then shows the 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place worlds in gold, silver and bronze, with the rest below by Likes.

Two worlds can tie. Tied worlds share a place label, and the status line reads 2 worlds tied for 1st. A tie takes no extra place: after two 1st-place worlds comes 2nd.

A placed world wears a badge with its place and the contest's name, on its card and in its details. Select the badge to open that contest.

Event Posters and Banners

When an event starts or ends, a poster opens on the main menu once on this device:

Poster What it shows
A Contest Has Started or An Announcement The event's title and text.
This Event Has Ended or Results Announced The end of the event, or the winner.

Select Got It to close it. A contest poster also has View Entries, or See The Results after the results.

The main menu also shows a banner for each running event. Dismiss shrinks it to a chip in the top bar. The banner comes back when the event ends.

Reports and Outcomes

A Report tells staff that a listing, a comment or a profile breaks the rules. You must log in to send one. You can't report your own work.

Reason
Illegal content
Hate or harassment
Spam or scam
Stolen content
Malicious content or links
Other

Only staff see a Report. The author never learns who sent it. You can send one Report about an item until staff close it.

Each Report ends in one Outcome: staff took action, or staff dismissed it. A message in the Messages tab of your User Profile tells you the Outcome. It can carry a note from staff. It doesn't say which action staff took.

Your Account

Login and Register

Select the round button at the bottom left of the main menu to open Login. The adult content warning comes first.

Dialog Fields
Login Username and Password. Forgot password? opens the reset page on formamorph.ai.
Register Username (3 to 20 characters), Password (at least 6), Confirm Password, and Email (Optional). The email lets you reset your password.

Select Create Account to switch to Register, and Back to Login to switch back. To change your email, use the account page on formamorph.ai.

The Privacy Policy

When you register, the privacy policy shows before the account is made. Select Accept and Create Account, or Decline to make nothing.

When the policy changes, it opens after you log in:

Choice What happens
Accept The prompt closes.
Sign Out Logs you out. Your account doesn't change, and the policy asks again next time.
Delete My Account Starts account deletion.

Read the policy any time at formamorph.ai/privacy.

The User Profile Dialog

Select the round button at the bottom left of the main menu. Its badge counts unread messages. The dialog shows your profile image, Member since and your stats. Select your profile image to change it. See How to Change Your Profile Image.

The header has Log Out. Your email, Change Password and Delete Account are on the Settings tab.

Tab What it holds
Messages Messages from the Formamorph team, such as Report Outcomes. Dismiss a message with its button.
Notifications The follow feed.
Terms The publishing terms. Accept or Decline them here. Shows only when terms exist.
Settings Your account email, with Resend Verification Email. Change Password and Delete Account are here too.

Account Deletion

The steps are in How to Delete Your Account. The dialog has three steps:

Step What it asks
What happens Nothing. It says the account is erased seven days from now, and nothing changes while you wait.
Your published work Delete My Work removes your listings, their files and your comments. Keep My Work keeps them under the name [deleted user].
Password Your password, to confirm.

The last screen names the date.

To cancel, log in before that date. The Deletion Cancelled notice opens and says your account is as it was. Select OK.

A suspended account can't be deleted from here. Select Open Feedback to ask the team.

Bugs and Suggestions

Select the round Feedback button at the bottom left of the main menu. It shows when you are logged in. The steps to send one are in How to Report a Bug or Suggest Something.

Tab What it holds
Bugs Your bug reports, or all of them with All Reports. Report a Bug opens the form. Only you and the team reply to your report.
Suggestions Everyone's suggestions, or yours with Mine. Suggest Something opens the form. Anyone can reply and vote. Sort by Newest or Most voted.

A bug report includes your app version and platform. Nothing about your worlds or saves goes with it. The form keeps an unsent draft.

Staff set each item's status. A bug is Open, Need Info, Confirmed, Resolved or Won't Fix. A suggestion is Open, Considering, Planned, Declined or Done. Replies show in the item's thread, under Bugs or Suggestions.
