Update reliability

  • In-app updates now work when the updater image is private: the installer gives the updater its own copy of the firm's deploy credential, and Mike's launcher adds it to existing installations automatically.
  • Each update is performed by the updater that ships with the new version, so settings a release introduces (such as the web search key) are applied on that same update.

Web search (introduced in v1.3.0) is switched on for this installation as part of the update if it was not already.
