Learning Suite
Language: English · 简体中文
The Learning Suite is three fixed first-party capabilities. Tutor teaches, Book preserves and reads complete books in source order, and Practice owns durable questions and review. They use isolated global stores and never mix learning records into ordinary LWC memory.
Each capability is disabled by default, enabled independently, and acquired only after explicit user consent:
lwc --scope global config set --tutor enabled
lwc --scope global config set --book enabled
lwc --scope global config set --practice enabled
lwc tutor status
lwc book status
lwc practice statusDisabling a capability removes no learning data. Managed runtimes live under ~/.lwc/runtime/<id>/<version>/<target>/; canonical plugin data lives under ~/.lwc/plugins/<id>/.
Tutor supports explicit teacher-led learning rather than ordinary factual Q&A. It keeps resumable visible turns, subjects, goals, versioned plans, learner evidence, and a private teacher Soul.
The using-tutor Skill keeps the control plane invisible: one bounded status restores the Soul and active context, then a normal visible turn uses turn begin and turn commit. Command output, IDs, JSON, Help probes, SQLite, and hidden cognitive anchors do not appear in the learner-facing response.
Teaching stays objective and non-sycophantic. The Agent can explain from first principles, map analogies precisely, use ASCII diagrams when they genuinely help, ask open reasoning questions, and adapt the next step from observed evidence. Praise cites concrete performance. Ordinary questions remain outside Tutor unless the user clearly enters learning mode.
Book supports EPUB, TXT, Markdown, and text PDFs. HTML, scanned/OCR PDFs, MOBI, and AZW3 are rejected rather than treated as read.
book prepare normalizes the source, freezes ordered blocks and locators, builds search, and validates coverage before sequential reading. The Agent may search or peek for orientation, but only ordered read next and read commit advance first-pass coverage. Original and normalized text remain canonical; summaries never replace the book.
Practice keeps versioned items and banks, persistent sets (including mistake sets), immutable papers, attempts, responses, grading history, flashcards, and deterministic FSRS review state.
Questions retain exact source references. Book-derived items identify the exact book and locator; Tutor-derived items identify a committed teaching turn. Objective grading is deterministic, subjective grading uses a frozen rubric, and stale source evidence fails closed. Subjects and stable IDs prevent unrelated learning domains from mixing.
Tutor, Book, and Practice participate in explicit lwc sync. Canonical rows and Book blobs are preserved even when the destination runtime is absent; derived indexes are rebuilt after installation. Semantic conflicts and stale ownership fail closed. Learning conversations, books, learner models, answers, and grades are private local data and should only be synchronized to a trusted SSH destination chosen by the user.
Use using-tutor, using-book, and using-practice for the corresponding Agent workflows.
