Note: This release turns the token widget API into something Homarr and Homepage can actually display.
The big four this release: compact GET payloads, widgets-only keys by default, a copy/download kit in Settings and docs, and Swagger for the Widgets tag.


🔑 API keys
Widgets-only by default New keys may GET widget routes only. Full keys keep the previous /api behaviour
Existing keys stay full Older keys keep working until you change their scope
Last used Each key shows when it last authenticated

📡 Widget API

Compact JSON for Homarr, Homepage, and curl — sessions, now playing, catalog, storage, downloads, stalled items, calendar, requests, issues, Tdarr, Maintainerr, digest, Jellyfin jobs, newsletter, and more.

GET /api/widgets/homepage is the all-in-one snapshot. Dedicated /api/widgets/... routes are better one tile at a time. Live Seerr stays on /api/widgets/requests and /api/widgets/issues only.

Send the key as header x-api-token. Do not put it in a public iframe URL.

feat: improve mobile navigation and layout

We are sorry for the three updates in one day. The recent work crossed several connected parts of JellyGlance: frontend routes, API routes, proxy endpoints, authentication, and third-party integrations. Small changes to one response shape or proxy path could affect artwork, activity, Tdarr data, or page loading elsewhere, so several quick updates were needed while those pieces were brought back into sync.

Added

  • Ten new theme presets: Sakura, Volcanic, Deep Sea, Honey, Plasma, Moss, Paper, Electric Blue, Tangerine, and Violet Night
  • Theme choices are available from both Settings and the profile theme menu
  • Active session cards now show transcoded progress as a lighter overlay on the playback progress bar
  • Expanded session cards now show the viewer profile picture and a client icon beside the client details
  • Mobile navigation stays within the viewport and Settings tabs scroll horizontally when needed
  • Mobile Settings tabs no longer overlap the page content
  • Home and Tdarr transcode cards use a more compact mobile layout

  • Activity no longer goes black while authenticated configuration is loading

fix: improve Tdarr queue, history, and refresh reliability

Fixed

  • Tdarr queued cards now use the paged client search data used by the Tdarr UI instead of exposing only aggregate queue counts
  • Tdarr active, queued, and history response mapping keeps worker progress, queue rows, history rows, and summary counts in the correct views
  • Tdarr history cards now retain media names, Jellyfin posters and backdrops, source formats, finished formats, size changes, and saved space
  • Tdarr refreshes no longer wait on the slow full database dump or blocking job-report lookups
  • Tdarr slow or unavailable optional endpoints no longer prevent active, queued, and history data from rendering
  • Active Tdarr transcode posters and backdrops now remain matched during live polling refreshes
