What's new since 2.4.3

2.4.6: scrolling display fixed

  • The spectrogram image could be shifted against the time axis and the BPM grid when the window was not redrawn after every update (e.g. a covered window or throttled drawing). It stayed wrong until a setting changed. Now the image is always exact.

2.4.5: about box fixed

  • The plugin window could open with the about box showing (an uninitialised value). Now it only opens with a click on the logo.

2.4.4

  • Source code tidied up, no change in function. The plugin now has 22 automated tests (tester/pluginTests, run with ctest).

Downloads for Windows, macOS (Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux.
Each zip contains the VST3 plugin and the Standalone application (macOS also the AU plugin),
the manual, a ReadMeFirst.txt and the license files (source code: MIT; binaries: AGPLv3, because of JUCE).

Installation: copy the plugin into the standard folder of your system
(Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3, macOS: ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components, Linux: ~/.vst3).

macOS: the binaries are not signed with an Apple Developer ID yet. If macOS says the
plugin is damaged or cannot be opened, remove the quarantine flag in the Terminal, e.g.
xattr -cr ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/JadeSpectrogram2.vst3.
