One portable application includes every desktop scene and the integrated screen saver. The .NET runtime is included. GitHub's Source code archives are for developers.

更新内容

  • 写实毛毛虫采用连续身体形变：后段先收拢，再逐段向前伸展，胸足与腹足同步抬落。
  • 前进速度随爬行节奏平滑变化，减少整只身体匀速滑动和 8 帧切换造成的机械感。
  • 头部领路，身体和尾部沿此前经过的路径弯曲；转弯幅度受体长和推进距离限制。
  • 靠近屏幕外边缘时提前转向，修复贴边长时间停住、重新前进时身体出现折角的问题。相接的屏幕边缘仍可通行。
  • 修改尺寸立即更新身体；暂停同时冻结身体、足部与位移，重新定位时清除旧路径。
  • 桌面与屏保共用新动作。可爱毛毛虫保留原外观，共用新的移动节奏。
  • 中英文 README 补充动作 GIF 和三种场景的使用说明。

这是参考毛毛虫步态的俯视视觉模拟，不是完整三维或生物力学仿真。现有数量、尺寸、场景和五种语言配置继续兼容。

What's new

  • Realistic caterpillars now crawl with continuous skin deformation and a rear-to-front movement wave. Thoracic legs and abdominal prolegs share the crawl rhythm.
  • Smooth speed changes replace uniform sliding; bodies and tails follow the head's path through gradual turns.
  • Early steering at external display edges prevents prolonged stalls and sharp body kinks. Touching displays remain traversable.
  • Size changes update the body immediately. Pause freezes the entire crawl; relocation clears the old path.
  • Desktop and screen saver share the new motion. Cute caterpillars retain their existing appearance and use the same movement rhythm.
  • Both READMEs include a magnified animation preview. All three scenes and five interface languages remain available.

升级 / Upgrade

先从托盘退出旧版，再解压并启动新包。设置「森林＋写实」，将毛毛虫数量设为大于 0，即可看到新动作。原有个人配置保留。

升级后进入「屏保 → 打开 Windows 屏保设置」并应用，更新 Windows 使用的屏保副本。

Exit the old app before launching the new package. Choose Forest and Realistic, then enable caterpillars. Existing settings are retained. Reopen Windows screen saver settings through the main app after upgrading to refresh the installed copy.

验证 / Validation

258 项自动化测试通过，覆盖爬行速度、路径弯曲、屏幕边缘与跨屏约束、尺寸与重新定位、帧率一致性及暂停恢复。渲染诊断检查 100% / 125% / 150% DPI 下的连续形变、透明背景与身体接缝，并验证打包后的 EXE 可启动 Windows 屏保预览。

258 automated tests plus rendered checks for continuous deformation, transparent backgrounds and skin continuity at three display scales, and an executable screen saver preview check.
