Replay Buffer Pro 1.5.1 is a compatibility fix release for OBS Studio 32.2.0. There are no new features.

Fix

  • Rebuilt against OBS Studio 32.2.0 / FFmpeg 8 — 1.5.0 failed to load on OBS Studio 32.2.0 (LoadLibrary error 126 on Windows) because it linked against the FFmpeg 7 libraries (avformat-61/avcodec-61/avutil-59) bundled by the previous obs-deps, which OBS 32.2.0 no longer ships. This build links against the FFmpeg 8 libraries (avformat-62/avcodec-62/avutil-60) that OBS 32.2.0+ actually bundles. (#26)

⚠️ Requirements changed

The plugin links against OBS's bundled FFmpeg libraries by exact soname, so each release is only binary-compatible with the OBS Studio version(s) shipping that FFmpeg major version.

  • Old minimum: OBS Studio 31.0.0+
  • New minimum (this release): OBS Studio 32.2.0+

This build will not load on OBS Studio versions older than 32.2.0. If you're not ready to update OBS Studio, stay on Replay Buffer Pro 1.5.0 instead of upgrading to 1.5.1.

Installation

Windows

  1. Download replay-buffer-pro-1.5.1-windows-x64.zip.
  2. Close OBS, extract the ZIP, and copy the obs-studio folder into %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\obs-studio\plugins\ (typically C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins\), overwriting the existing install.

macOS

  1. Download replay-buffer-pro-1.5.1-macos-universal.pkg.
  2. Close OBS and run the installer. The plugin installs to ~/Library/Application Support/obs-studio/plugins/.

Requirements

  • OBS Studio 32.2.0+
  • Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or macOS 12.0+

Internal

  • macOS CI now builds with Xcode 26.5 / macOS SDK 26.5 (required by the OBS 32.2.0 source tree) and uses Xcode's built-in compilation cache instead of ccache, which broke under Xcode 26's shell-wrapped compiler invocations.
