New: Android

  1. Download the APK on your phone and open it. It is not on Google Play, so Android asks you to allow installing apps from your browser or file manager.
  2. Open JSRF Unleashed and choose your disc image (.iso): the app unpacks it once (about 3 GB of free space). Or copy the extracted game folder (with default.xbe and Media in it) from a computer over USB, named game, into Android/data/com.jumatt.jsrfunleashed/files/.
  3. Play with a controller (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and others, over Bluetooth or USB) or with the on-screen controls. The ⚙ button has widescreen, the on-screen controls and the resolution.

Saves are kept in the game folder (UDATA): uninstalling the app deletes them, so copy UDATA somewhere first.

It has been run in the Android emulator only so far (unpacking a disc image, boot, title, attract demo, the controls and the settings), not yet on a phone. Reports are welcome: open an issue with Android/data/com.jumatt.jsrfunleashed/files/Logs/last-run.log and your phone's model.

Unchanged

The Windows download is the 0.3.0 build, the Linux download the 0.3.1 build, and the Mac and iPhone downloads are the 0.2.0 builds; each still calls itself by that version. AltStore keeps offering 0.2.0.

Everything else is in the changelog, and installation instructions for every platform are in the README.
