• Loading JSON no longer invalidates compiled isequal, convert(String, ::Any), or convert(Symbol, ::Any) calls elsewhere in the session. A plain using JSON now invalidates no compiled methods on Julia 1.10 and 1.12 (#489, #490).
• Breaking for low-level lazy parsing: keys passed to JSON.applyobject callbacks and strings returned by JSON.parsestring no longer support convert(String, x), including implicit conversions such as storing a key in a Dict{String}. Use String(x) instead (#490).
