Binary download temporarily withdrawn

The launcher ZIP has been removed while a C#/.NET replacement is tested and prepared for security review. The source remains available for inspection. No replacement build has been cleared or published yet.

Security review pending

This is the original AC8 Mod Control 1.0.0 package submitted to Nexus Mods. Nexus has quarantined this build after antivirus detections, and its security review is still pending. A false positive has not been confirmed. This release does not indicate security clearance. Do not disable antivirus protection to run it.

VirusTotal reports

Recorded September 30, 2026 results: 3/67 detections for the ZIP and 7/71 for the EXE. Reports may change; consult the linked results. See security review notes for details and verification limits.

Features

  • Cumulative mission access and campaign menu unlocks.
  • Aircraft, skin, and special weapon unlocks.
  • Adjustable in-game FOV overlay.
  • Current-save backups.
  • Optional native DLSS configuration toggle.
  • Optional No EAC launch for offline/single-player use.

Download and setup

The original launcher ZIP is no longer available here. GitHub’s automatic source archives contain source code only. The historical checksums below identify the withdrawn build.

Requires Windows, ACE COMBAT 8, and a separately installed compatible UE4SS runtime. Start a new campaign once to create a save if needed, close the game, then run the launcher and choose your options. Read the included HOW TO USE.txt before applying changes. Use offline/single-player only and back up your save. Online use is not recommended.
