What changed

Download and upgrade

Download AC8.Mod.Control.exe below. Keep it on your Desktop or another folder; it does not need to go in the game folder. No separate Python or .NET installation is needed. Required tested UE4SS build: Experimental v3.0.1-1152-ge3ba1016. Download that exact build. Use this Experimental build rather than stable 3.0.1; other builds have not been verified. UE4SS is not bundled. Installation guide.

Close the game, run this new launcher, select your game folder and desired mods, then click Apply Selected Mods once to install the update. A campaign save must already exist; start a campaign and let it save first if necessary. Applying mods creates a save backup. Leave Mission access unchecked to retain normal mission progression. Disabling a script does not reverse saved unlocks.

Automatic unlocks

Enter the campaign hangar and wait about 5–10 seconds before selecting an aircraft. If SP weapons or skins remain locked, select the aircraft, wait another 5–10 seconds, then back out and reopen its weapon/skin selection. The game must create loadout records before the mod can update them. F7 is a manual fallback, normally unnecessary. Let the game save normally.

Testing and scan status

The author confirmed automatic aircraft, special weapons and skins during local testing. Automatic mission application was verified in the game log. Thirty isolated launcher checks passed; startup and all 15 extracted Lua scripts were verified. Aircraft-only fresh-campaign gameplay has not yet been verified.

No VirusTotal result or Nexus approval has been verified for this new 1.1.2 binary. The previous 1.1.1 build was quarantined by Nexus and its report showed 1/70 detections; that result does not apply to this new file. The earlier detection remains unresolved. Keep antivirus protection enabled. Offline/single-player use only.
