PaperDuet_0.4.0_aarch64.dmg (click to download) · Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later) · macOS 13.3 or later · 2 to 8 GB free for the translation model, depending on which one you choose (2.1 GB for the recommended one).

Install

If you have 0.2.x or 0.3.x, PaperDuet offers this update by itself; click it and restart.

Otherwise:

  1. Open the disk image and drag PaperDuet into Applications, replacing the old version if you have one. Open it from there.
  2. The app is not notarized by Apple, so the first time macOS says it cannot check it. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down to the message about PaperDuet, click Open Anyway and confirm.
  3. Your translations, notes and settings stay as they are.

What's new

  • The interface comes in English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Français, Deutsch, Español and Русский.
  • It follows the macOS language (English when macOS uses a language PaperDuet doesn't have). To pick another one, open Settings › Appearance › Interface Language; the switch is immediate.

The other files below (.app.tar.gz and latest.json) are what the in-app updater downloads; you don't need them.
