JavaNest CodeEditor - v0.1a Release Notes

We're excited to announce the first alpha release of JavaNest CodeEditor (v0.1a), a minimalistic code editing environment built using Java. This release is packaged as a JAR file, making it easy to run on any machine with Java installed.

Key Features in v0.1a:

  • Basic Text Editing: Open, edit, and save text-based files.
  • Font Size Adjustment: Easily adjust the font size for better readability.
  • File Metadata: Custom metadata is automatically added when saving files, including version info and the last modified timestamp.

This is an early alpha, and there's much more to come! Future updates will bring exciting features like syntax highlighting, line numbering, themes, and more.
