Install

brew install --cask kernel-hunter/boost/boost

Or download Boost.zip below and drag it to Applications.

Boost is not notarized — it is signed with a local certificate, so
a direct download will be stopped by Gatekeeper the first time.
Homebrew handles this for you; if you downloaded the zip by hand,
right-click the app and choose Open.

Building it yourself avoids the question entirely:
