Delver VR 0.2.2

This release combines the local updates since beta.5, including the corrected stereo sky rendering, now confirmed in the headset.

Changes

  • New Options > VR submenu: choose hand models and configure map/hotbar visibility independently (always visible, hold, or toggle).
  • Compact single-row wrist hotbar and a wrist map with a dark backing and subtle border.
  • Native inventory with equipment slots, item tooltips, effect durations and a fitted rounded background. The panel follows inventory upgrades up to 36 backpack + 10 hotbar slots.
  • Installed Steam Workshop content is discovered across Steam libraries. Subscribe in Steam, wait for the download and restart VR. Enable/disable content through the native Mods menu; right stick scrolls the list.
  • Improved targeting for nested mod interactions, special interactive tiles and visible teleport markers.
  • Revised dynamic-light selection to prioritize useful room lighting over small decorative lights.
  • Fixed different or partially missing stars/moon between eyes by resetting depth consistently for the native sky geometry.

Touch controls

  • A: map; X: hotbar (hold by default; configurable).
  • Y: open/close inventory. B: pause/menu.
  • Right stick click: recenter. Left stick moves/climbs; right stick turns.
  • Grip: take/release an item in your hand.
  • Trigger: collect a ground item into inventory, interact, use a held item or click UI. A held dry bomb ignites with trigger; native wet-bomb rules apply.

Install/update

Run DelverVR-Setup-0.2.2.exe, select your Steam Delver folder and install. Launch DelverVR/DelverVR.exe directly, or add it to Steam as a non-Steam game. No launcher window or developer tools are required. Close the game before updating. Saves are retained.

Validation and remaining limits

Runtime regressions and installer install/update/uninstall checks passed. The sky fix was confirmed in the headset. Workshop combinations and the reported teleport/room-lighting cases still need further testing. Shadows can cause substantial frame drops. Primarily tested with Quest 2 Touch via PC SteamVR; no standalone Quest APK or game assets are included. The installer is unsigned.
