0.2.0
Beloved servants of Mr. God, grace and peace to you upon this release of GodOnChain version 0.2.0
With this release, I wanted to give you a bit more of a guided tour of how it works, especially how you can talk to God, access my Burning Bush Covenant, and contribute to our Reliquary flash archive.
GodOnChain now waits to ask for your RPC urls and/or secret keys until you actually have reason to use each of them. As a reminder, these are secured on your local device, encrypted by your entered passphrase. They are never accessed directly by any GodOnChain inscribed application. That said, there is nothing wrong with being a bit paranoid. It is wise to use a fresh separate wallet which you fund with just a bit more than the gas fees rather than your core investment wallet(s). GodOnChain gives cost estimates for all inscriptions for those who use such, so just make sure you have enough before you attempt one, a bit more than estimated to be safe (though, generally, we try to overestimate slightly already).
In order to most conveniently run GodOnChain inscribed applications, GodOnChain now, automatically, downloads the most recent Godot instance. By doing so automatically, you will be able to access Mr. God very easily.

Now that Godot has finished automatically downloading, Let's start talking to God
Select one of the GOD bookmarks of your choice (I recommend MON as the fastest option). It is recommended, but not required, to provide your own RPC URL. Even a free-tier RPC owned by you makes a massive difference, especially when retrieving larger files/applications.
TalkToGod.mp4
If you don't elect to set your RPC URLs now, you can always set them (and your private keys if you desire to use write access) later by accessing the KEYS menu. For the rest of the demos here, I will have set my RPC Urls, and also my private signer keys, since I will be using write access here. As a general wisdom of crypto, it is a horrible idea to give anyone your private key. Please be cautious. We store such securely locally, and our code is open source so you can audit this, but even then, it is wise to use a separate wallet, not your main investment wallet.

Next, let's access an application which actually uses GodOnChain integration
I will show you how to access my Burning Bush Covenant. Since I am doing this on a fresh device, it asks what I would like my "username" to be. This is ultimately merely used as the database table name if we were to inscribe any Covenants on this device. Actual identity is based on private key.
We can browse Covenants that have been configured to be Public. You can find my primary Covenant, which promises the Wrath of God, on MON. If anything were to ever happen to me and I were not to check in on, configured on an annual basis, you could access the data I have inscribed there to encrypt it. This data contains forbidden knowledge capable of enacted the Wrath of God.
BurningBush.mp4
As the inscriber of this Covenant, you see here I have the option to CheckIn to assert I am alive. When you view my Covenant, you will not have this option. This option would be present on your own Covenants.
If you have use for a Deadman's Switch wish to inscribe your own Covenant, you may do so. It's highly configurable, so read through your options and select carefully according to your preference. It's immutable by design, so there's no taking it back
Finally, let's access the Reliquary and play some Flash Games
Everything else shown prior is relevantly OS agnostic. It should/will work regardless of if you are on Windows or Linux (or theoretically MacOS, but I haven't given you an export for such. Let me know if you want it, but I have no method to test it).
Unfortunately, the vast majority of aspects flash only run stably or even at all on Windows devices. This is a limitation of flash support. Contribution of inscription to the Reliquary will still work, in principle, since our SDKs are OS agnostic. Depending on your Linux distribution, some games may work. Many will not.
If you are on a Windows device, the experience will be very smooth for you. It will automatically download anything it needs to run any given type of flash game. Let's run one from the blockchain
ReliquaryWindows.mp4
Browse through and try any games that you like. As long as the Web2 Flashpoint archive exists, the full library of over 200k games/animations is available (filterable/searchable by various convenient categorizations). If, tragically, that Web2 archive was to ever shut down, every game we inscribed will be permanently accessible, but the rest may become lost media. Find the games that are nostalgically important to you, and inscribe them so that you can access them, forever

Hopefully our demos here have made the experience a bit less intimidating. I wonder what Mr. God will have us build next

0.1.1
- Updated to latest IQ Solana SDK. Supports 4x cheaper transactions.
0.1.0
Initial release of GodOnChain.
Providing your own RPC urls is recommended, even if just free tier, but not required. Some SOL apps may load very slowly on a free-tier RPC, but note, any Godot app is cached after the initial retrieval from chain, so it may be launched instantly in all subsequent uses. MON is quite fast, even on the public RPC url.
Providing your private keys is only required if you desire to use anything that requires Write access, such as CodeIn your own files, or creating a Covenant on BurningBushProtocol. These keys are encrypted securely locally to your device, decrypted via password. It is wise to exercise caution anyways. Do not run executables from sources you don't trust. Consider using a separate wallet with minimal funds for gas/fees for any of your writes as opposed to your main investment wallets.
You do not need a HanLock password unless you desire to use HanLock encryption. None of the default bookmarked apps use HanLock encryption.
This initial release contains 11 bookmarks by default for you to explore.
GOD [MON] - A random number Oracle to talk to Mr. God, using the same lists as TempleOS (including a line numbered copy of the Bible)
GodGivesSatoshiSeedPhrase [MON] - God controls Random Numbers. If He deems you worthy (He probably won't) He is able to grant you Satoshi's Seed Phrase randomly generated, despite the statistical impossibility.
GodDoodle [MON] - Recreated God Doodle functionality from TempleOS
BurningBushProtocol [MON] - Immutable Deadman's switch protocol. Write a Covenant and tend to it. If you stop tending to it (perhaps because you are dead), it will be available to open, configurable on how. Monitor Bushes for whether they've been tended to. As an example, you can monitor my own deadman's switch which holds the Wrath of God if the glowies were to kill me: https://x.com/KingTerryOnIQ/status/2097493175036166571 Inscribing your own Covenant will require write access, handled through the keys given to GodOnChain
TempleOS ISO [MON] - A copy of God's holy Temple, TempleOS
GOD [SOL] - The same, but inscribed on SOL
Pong [SOL] - Pong, a simple example we did early on
DOOM [SOL] - A fully playable inscribed DOOM map, note, with so many assets and due to being on SOL, the download is quite slow on a free-tier RPC. This would have been 100x more efficient on MON.
Pixelorama [SOL] - An inscribed copy of https://github.com/Orama-Interactive/Pixelorama, done as an example of how Godot inscriptions can be generic
GodotOS [SOL] - An inscribed copy of https://github.com/popcar2/GodotOS done as another example of how Godot inscriptions can be generic
Quran [SOL] - By request of a loyal IQ community member, we inscribed a copy of the Quran. Note, it's on SOL and large so like DOOM it's quite slow on a free tier RPC.
For those interested, part of this repo is the Addon which BurningBushProtocol uses to interact directly with GodOnChain. Contact me if God gives you the ambition to consider building you own God[ot] applications with such.
On a later date, we will inscribe a Domain Registration type app where we can share and explore what others have created. For now, if you wanted to inscribe and share something else, you'd need to provide the TransactionID (and optionally whatever decryption password you inscribed it with) to those you're sharing with. That is, you can already use GodOnChain to upload and download your own messages, files, and Godot Apps, but we'll make it easier in the future. There are some slight nuances in the inscription of Godot apps, so I recommend waiting on that at least until I provide you with an easy-to-use application tester.
