#mtb-generated:<namespace>/<multiblock_id>/outline/show {args:{<arguments>}}

This function is used to show the outline for your multiblock. It can be used to easily mark placement without causing much visual lag.

Context:

This function needs to run as the root of the multiblock instance that you want to edit.

Note

You can use the selector @e[type=minecraft:block_display,tag=<namespace>-<multiblock_id>,tag=mtb.root] to find the root

arguments:

  • color (optional): one of white, light_gray, gray, black, brown, red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue, purple, magenta, pink | Determines the glass color of the outline. Defaults to light_blue
  • glow_color (optional): int | The glow color for your outline (acts the same as the glow_color_override field). Defaults to 3847130
  • glowing (optional): boolean | Whether the outline should glow or not. Defaults to true

Example:

# during placement, show an outline instead of the whole blueprint
function #mtb-generated:tech_datapack/industrial_furnace/outline/show {glow_color:0}
