MCLA 4iOS 1.0
Custom touch controls, continuous driving slides, raised map/speed panels and the audited red-light glow correction for iPhone and iPad.
README · Detailed changelog · UI/feature guide · Known issues
New in this release
- Scalable cyan native touch artwork, split gas/drift pedal and steering base/knob.
- Continuous Gas ↔ Gas + Handbrake ↔ Brake slides; the drift/brake midpoint combines all three driving inputs.
- Weight can retain the previous driving input during a slide and releases when the finger leaves its button.
- Approved M5 layout as the default, saved edits retained, editable positions/sizes and palette actions.
- Larger minimap at the upper left and speed/RPM at the upper right; padded map border uses the same transform as the fill.
- Fresh Weight, Lights, music-track and pause/play icons.
- Corrected two post-tonemap glow passes that changed red signals to blue/purple; Metal tests pass and M5 gameplay was user-confirmed.
- Expanded README, detailed changelog, feature guide and validation record.
Included foundation
Native ARM64 AOT execution, a handwritten Metal backend and 603 offline native shader libraries; controller/touch/tilt support; save import/export; scene-resolution/filter/bloom/blur controls; optional spatial FSR 1; Retail Mode and bounded diagnostics; standard 30 FPS and experimental real-frame 60 FPS.
Download and install
Download MCLA-4iOS-1.0.ipa and re-sign it with your own account using Sideloadly or AltStore Classic. No original game files are included. Supply your own complete Xbox 360 Complete Edition extraction in MCLA_Game_Files inside the MCLA Files container. The executable must sit directly in that folder. See installation instructions.
The IPA contains no personal provisioning profile and requires recipient signing. SHA256SUMS.txt and release-manifest.json identify the artifact and source commit. iOS/iPadOS 18 is the deployment minimum; gameplay testing is limited to Air/M5 and does not certify every compatible OS/device. Export your saves and preserve your signing account/bundle identifier when updating.
Validation and limits
Version 1.0 is a milestone, not a claim of complete original-game accuracy. Controls were exercised on M5 and in the native harness. The padded-border transform regression passes and that build was installed on Air/M5; the final installed alignment screenshot was pending. The validation record lists build, test and package evidence.
Two shader programs remain missing. Road shimmer, some checkpoint smoke/colors, fades, new-game ride height and broader warm-device/60 FPS behavior need work. Small blue/purple street-name signs exist in original source textures; green freeway boards are separate. Road sun-reflection math is present, but matching visual coverage at the same time/weather/view remains outstanding. No MetalFX frame generation, online-play acceptance or standard-build SMAA feature is claimed.
