Changes

  • New — limit hits from Claude Code: Claude Code logs each request a limit refused. ShareCodex now records those refusals as limit events: the 5-hour, weekly and model-specific limits, server overload and sign-in failures. Throttling by a gateway such as OpenCodex is kept apart and never counted as a subscription limit. Only the kind of limit is kept, never the message. The capacity report, in the console, on the dashboard and in the desktop app, lists the confirmed hits by member and plan, counts them per plan, and marks the 5-hour windows they fell in beside the windows whose readings reached 100%.
  • New — effort per request: each Claude Code request keeps its effort level (low to max), for the breakdowns to come.
  • Past hits are recorded once a device resyncs (Settings → Resync); the server must be updated first.

Update

  • macOS: brew update && brew upgrade --cask sharecodex, or run the install script again
  • Windows: scoop update && scoop update sharecodex, or run the install script again
  • Linux CLI: brew update && brew upgrade sharecodex-cli, then sharecodex autostart on to restart the service; or run the install script again, which restarts it for you
  • Server: set SHARECODEX_VERSION=0.3.56 in .env and run docker compose up -d
