RazorCAD 0.12.0-beta
Pre-release
Pre-release
The third public beta of RazorCAD, a parametric 3D part modeler for Windows 10 and 11 with a classic feature-tree interface. This one brings drawings of assemblies.
Beta: expect bugs. If you make DXFs for manufacturing, please double-check the exported files for now.

What's new since 0.11.0-beta
Drawings of assemblies
- A drawing view can show an assembly as well as a part. Model View and Standard Views list open assemblies, Browse takes a
.rasmfile, and File ▸ Make Drawing from Assembly makes a drawing with its three standard views. - Every component is drawn where it sits, through its sub-assemblies, in the configurations shown. Suppressed and hidden components are left out.
- Section, detail and projected views, hole callouts and cut lists work on assemblies too.
- Big assemblies are drawn fast. Plain views of large assemblies are worked out from the parts' display meshes: a 2,400-solid site layout gets its three standard views in about 25 seconds instead of many minutes per view. Each assembly view has Hidden lines: Automatic / Exact / Fast in its properties.
Other
- Some features and tools have new, plainer names. Parts saved with earlier versions pick up the new default names when they are opened; names you typed yourself are kept.
- The drawing tree's part row stays in its place when the panel is widened.
