Codevator 0.2.2 reduces unnecessary work while keeping terminal sessions responsive.

  • Codex terminal output now combines corrective full-screen redraws and skips them when the window is hidden. The terminal refreshes when it becomes visible again.
  • Task-completion notifications now react to changes in the completion marker instead of checking it every half-second for each AI tab.
  • Closing a terminal session now includes a fallback that reaps its child process, preventing defunct processes from being left behind.

Download the universal macOS DMG below, open it, and drag Codevator to Applications. It supports macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The app is ad-hoc signed but not notarized, so macOS may ask you to allow it in Privacy & Security before opening.

Validation: 38 unit tests and 4 macOS UI tests passed. One Claude-dependent test in each suite was skipped because Claude CLI was unavailable. The universal build, app signature, DMG checksum, and local installation were verified. Actual battery-life improvement has not been measured.
