The Editor

Once you finished syncing your song, it will bring you to the editor. This is where you can make your final touches and where you can sync backing vocals. If there are any lines that you feel you messed up, you can redo them here by pressing the redo line button. If you need to adjust just one individual word, you can tap on that word and you can change the beginning and end times.

You can split words into syllables here as well if you forgot to split a word earlier. Make sure you redo the line if you do this! You need to let it know when those new syllables start and stop!

This screen is also where you can sync the backing vocals. You can either do each line individually or you can do them all at once. You are not required to sync the backing vocals, but you should! It makes the lyrics more immersive!

Submitting Lyrics

Once you are completely done with your lyrics, you can submit them by pressing the Save button! It will ask you a couple questions when you submit them. It will first ask you if you would like to align your timings to the start times that was provided from the original lyrics. What that means is, it will take the beginning times of your words and change it to be the same as what the original lyrics had. And then it will move the rest of the words over however much it moved the first one in the line. This is especially useful if you are using bluetooth headphones, as there will undoubtedly be a little bit of an audio delay, making the lyrics inaccurate. This option will compensate for that. It is also useful for others as well just to be sure that the lyrics are accurate.

The next question it will ask you is if you want to credit yourself. You can either use your Spotify username and profile picture, or you can provide your own (for example, if you want to use your Discord account information). Or you can choose to have no credit. It is completely up to you.

And that's it! Once you submit, everyone will be able to see your lyrics! Have fun syncing songs🎵
