LinkSense v0.3.8

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 12 Oct 12:48

LinkSense v0.3.8

Highlights

  • Normalize supported voice recordings to 16 kHz mono PCM WAV before transcription, with bounded conversion time, duration validation, and temporary-file cleanup. The API image includes FFmpeg.
  • Support OpenAI-compatible speech recognition gateways that return a standard JSON transcription response, while retaining native DashScope support.
  • Add an OpenAI-compatible image provider and configurable service addresses for image providers, including existing encrypted configurations.
  • Allow reasoning models to complete automatic task titles without the previous fixed output-token limit.
  • Update image-provider configuration guidance and translations in all six supported locales.

Verification

  • CI and source security checks passed for the released commit.
  • Linux amd64 and arm64 Core/Full installation, repair, and upgrades from v0.3.7 passed, including persisted-data verification.
  • Release files are checksummed and use immutable image digests. Docling remains at 1.36.0.
  • Under the existing application-owned image policy, known external-image and verified inherited-baseline vulnerabilities remain documented and report-only; they have not been remediated by this release. Application-introduced HIGH/CRITICAL findings, scan failures, and functional failures remain blocking.

LinkSense v0.3.7

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 10 Oct 09:43

What's Changed

  • Fix model-channel creation and task submissions on ordinary HTTP origins using cryptographically secure UUIDs, while preserving existing submission and retry identifiers.
  • Preserve knowledge upload sessions across navigation and keep reprocessing progress visible while the current document remains searchable.
  • Increase the image-understanding request timeout to five minutes.
  • Let unavailable or pending optional MCP servers remain non-blocking during task startup, prewarming and recovery, while retaining capability authorization checks.
  • Require fast-jwt 6.3.1 for patched JWT verification and retain valid existing HS256 sessions.

Image Security Policy

External service-image vulnerabilities and vulnerabilities proven to be inherited from immutable runtime baselines are now recorded without blocking publication. Application-introduced HIGH/CRITICAL findings, invalid scans, source and dependency checks, and functional verification failures remain blocking.

Known external-image vulnerabilities remain in this release. This is an explicitly accepted policy change, not a remediation or a claim that these dependencies are vulnerability-free. See the image security policy and the retained workflow reports.

No external-image version upgrade or runtime-baseline rebuild was performed. Docling remains at 1.36.0.

Verification

CI, source security checks, both architecture image gates, storage preservation, and Core/Full installation, repair and upgrade verification passed on amd64 and arm64. All 21 published assets were downloaded and verified against the exact tested candidates.

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Oct 16:25

LinkSense v0.3.3

Highlights

  • Recover persisted conversation events on the SSE heartbeat when a Redis notification is missed, so task completion does not leave the interface waiting indefinitely.
  • Scope managed browser cleanup to its assigned task, preserving other sessions that share the same user environment.
  • Refresh initialization state after creating the administrator, including when an earlier bootstrap request is still in flight.
  • Show the correct unavailable state in Core deployments without requesting uninstalled knowledge services. Existing knowledge remains readable when search is temporarily unavailable.
  • Simplify application test-history conversations while retaining the stop action for running tests.
  • Align linksense doctor with installer-created volumes and improve Docker Engine memory guidance for Linux and Docker Desktop.
  • Upgrade Fastify, Nodemailer, HTTP clients and transitive parsing dependencies to address the high-severity advisories blocking publication; classify shadcn tooling as a development dependency.
  • Update public documentation and README checks, including shared workspace and execution security boundaries.

Installation and upgrade

Core and Full installation, repair, and upgrade assets are included. Published container images support Linux amd64 and arm64 and are pinned by digest in the release manifests.

For an existing installation, back up your data and run:

linksense upgrade v0.3.3

This release introduces no database schema migration relative to v0.3.2. Consult the deployment requirements and security guidance before installing or upgrading. A complete Core/Full installation and business-acceptance run is not part of the automated release workflow.

Highlights

  • Improve mobile layouts, application catalog controls, and the sign-in experience.
  • Refresh the project overview, architecture diagrams, and live demo links.
  • Use open-source worker fonts and include CPAL attribution and distribution notices.
  • Fix a concurrent-read race that could incorrectly mark a completed runner operation as uncertain.
  • Strengthen release verification and prepare the distribution workflow for open-source publication.
  • Restore one-command installation using the Coolify team's MinIO distribution on GitHub Container Registry.

Distribution

  • Container images: API, web, migration, runner, and worker, for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64.
  • Installation and maintenance scripts, pinned release manifests, license notices, and SHA-256 checksums are included in the release assets.
