I never intended for the desktop / office build to last as long as it did -- it was always meant to be temporary but the more improvements I made to keep it where it was at the more permanent it became. Eventually I hit a point where it was no longer safe / feasible to expand and leave it where it was at.

I had kicked around many different ideas for moving the build to the laundry room in my house. Originally I planned to build a dedicated shelving system in a corner of the room near the door; however, ended up scrapping that plan in favor of moving into the existing cabinetry. The plan is to get the entire build (at double my current capacity) to fit on the top shelf of this cabinet.

I roughly planned the layout in Google Sketchup to at least ensure things would actually fit -- obviously reality dictated some changes along the way.
