Getting more comfortable with the MAD / software side of things, my first big expansion was adding 15 more x96 minis for a total of 22 devices. I used some scrap pine to make the table-saw x96 mini tray, and had everything haphazardly sitting on another piece of scrap pine which sat on top of a 24-port switch. The whole thing was pretty precarious... but I never intended for this spot to be a long-term home. Cooling was upgraded to a single box fan. Gotta hand it to Air king -- this fan is a good 15-20 years old and is beat to crap but it just keeps on running 24/7 like nobody's business.
