I setup sunshine on my arch linux pc and when I want to start it I get this error when I try to connect my client:

I had the same issue on Debian 12 running the latest version of sunshine v0.23.1 and I fixed it by disabling sunshine.service and then adding sunshine in KDE Autostart section.
It seems that when sunshine is started by systemd, it cannot detect the connected monitor.

I had the sam issue on arch with yay sunshine , removed it and installed sunshine-git and it worked normally.

Explanation of the issue. Not sure if solution outlined is still relevant or whether it was even accepted.
One potential workaround.

Alternatively it's possible to remove /dev/dri/card0 after boot, which would allow sunshine to initialize correctly.
Hopefully nVidia can clean up their act on this.

I had the sam issue on arch with yay sunshine , removed it and installed sunshine-git and it worked normally.

This also worked for me when I was having issues starting sunshine from SSH. I just switched from regular version to git/beta version:
sudo pacman -R sunshine
paru -Syy sunshine-git
