This update introduces Playhub Dashboard, improves the return to Steam after closing a game, and expands the Playhub Plugin Store.

What's new

  • Playhub Dashboard is Gaming Mode's controller-first answer to CTRL + ALT + DEL, Task Manager and ALT + TAB, brought together in one console-style interface.
  • Open Dashboard from anywhere with CTRL + ALT + P (just create a Steam Input shortcut or open it via Gaming Mode plugin), switch between active games and Windows apps, bring a window to the foreground or close it without returning to the desktop.
  • Inspect running processes, close an app that is no longer responding and restart Decky Loader from the System page.
  • Monitor CPU, GPU, memory, network and disk activity through animated real-time graphs.
  • Add desktop programs and Windows apps as favorites, rename them and launch them directly from Gaming Mode.
  • The new plugins Playhub Notifications, News and Proton VPN are now available in the Playhub Plugin Store.
  • A new Support page explains how Playhub is maintained and includes an optional Ko-fi link.

Fixes

  • Steam Big Picture now regains visible controller focus after closing a game.
  • Gaming Mode no longer mistakes unrelated apps, launchers or helper windows for the active game.
  • Borderless fullscreen handling is now limited to the correct game windows and no longer changes normal desktop apps.

Install or update

Download Playhub-Setup-1.2.0.exe below and run it.
If Playhub is already installed, the installer updates the application while keeping your existing settings.
The installer is currently unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may display "Windows protected your PC". Select More info -> Run anyway to continue.
