More plugins to discover, more ways to make Big Picture yours. Playhub 1.3.0 introduces a completely redesigned Plugin Store, a new look for the app and a clearer way to keep everything up to date.

What's new

  • A bigger Plugin Store. Discover, install, update and remove Playhub plugins, Decky Store plugins and independent projects from GitHub in one place. Source badges make it clear where each plugin comes from.
  • A new Store home. Browse a rotating showcase and themed categories, with a fresh selection of plugins each time you open Playhub. Select a category to explore its full collection.
  • Dedicated plugin pages. See screenshots, videos, complete descriptions and available release notes before installing. Headings, lists, links and quotations are displayed as readable content.
  • Your preferred way to browse. Switch between list and grid views, filter by source and sort by name, date added or last update. Each category, All Plugins and Manage remembers its own view.
  • A new update window. Read the release notes and update Playhub from the same scrollable popup, with download progress directly beneath the update button.
  • A refreshed welcome. Playhub's mascots guide you through setup, including your accent color and a choice of Mica, Acrylic or a solid background.
  • Controller feedback. Add adjustable vibration (haptics are exclusive for the Steam Controller) to navigation and selections through the Gaming Mode plugin.

Improvements

  • Manage now includes search, source filters and sorting for your installed plugins. Available update notes appear alongside the relevant plugin.
  • The showcase highlights Playhub plugins you have yet to try and updates for the ones you already use.
  • Store navigation stays within reach as you scroll. Back returns to the previous Store page, and search expands only when needed.
  • DeckyLoader can be checked and updated directly from its page, with visible activity indicators during installation, updating and removal.
  • Reduced unnecessary loading during startup, page changes and Store browsing.
  • Import Games can also offer official Steam artwork for matching titles.
  • Improved the first opening of Playhub Dashboard so active windows appear sooner.
  • More complete, natural translations in all 12 languages, including dialogs and status messages.
