Opening the Nether now brings cosmetic lightning, a 15-minute rainstorm, and a random announcement. Closing it clears the weather.
- Four opening phrases and four closing phrases, with no immediate repeats when the pool has multiple choices. The last choice is remembered across restarts.
- Opening and closing sound cues reach players in every dimension.
- Messages, storm duration, affected worlds, and individual effects are configurable.
- Effects only run when the gate state changes. Restarting, reloading, or repeating an open/close command won't replay them.
Requires Paper 26.2 and Java 25. Existing config files pick up defaults for the new settings.
