Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.7
The fixed camera shots in the alleys at the start of the game are fixed. On 0.1.6, the launcher offers this version when it opens.
Fixes
- Fixed camera shots now frame Kat correctly, at any frame rate. In the alleys right after the opening, and in other places with fixed camera shots, the camera could stay stuck against a wall, with Kat at the edge of the picture or out of it, and stop turning on its own. The cause was in how the processor handled very small numbers: the PS4 treats them as zero, and the port did not. The game slows the camera's turning down to zero and then checks for exactly zero before it lets the fixed shots take over; on PC a tiny leftover value kept the camera "turning" forever. It happened far more often above 60 FPS. The game now runs with the same processor setting as the console, so all of its calculations behave as on PS4.
Changed
- The known issues no longer list missing echo and reverb: the game does not use them, and its sound plays as on PS4.
Install
On 0.1.6 or earlier: accept the update when the launcher offers it. Your saves, settings and mods are kept.
New install: extract the zip anywhere (not inside the zip itself), open Gravity Rush Launcher.exe, choose your game folder on the Game page, and press Play.
You need your own copy of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4), European release CUSA01113 version 01.00, as an unpacked game folder. You also need Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card.
Reports and F12 captures are welcome in Issues.
Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.6
The two remaining graphics problems reported by players are fixed: the blue stripes when a comic page turns into a movie, and the camera swinging during gravity shifts above 60 FPS. On 0.1.5, the launcher offers this version when it opens.
Fixes
- No more blue stripes when a comic page turns into a movie. For about 0.2 seconds the lower part of the picture turned into blue stripes, for example when Kat breaks through a door early in episode 1, and in the same way at other comic-to-movie transitions later in the game. The game copies the movie frame in four pieces; only the first piece used the picture the graphics card had drawn, while the other three copied old memory. All four pieces now use the drawn picture.
- The camera no longer swings during gravity shifts above 60 FPS. Pressing R1 repeatedly at 120 FPS made the view tilt left and right, a little more each time. While Kat floats, the game corrects the camera's tilt a fixed amount per frame, so at 120 FPS it corrected twice as much and overshot. The correction now follows the frame time; at 60 FPS it is exactly as before.
- Slightly smoother loading during movies. Two earlier workarounds for the stripes are gone: one could pause the game for up to 0.1 seconds, many times in a row, while the next area loaded during a movie.
Changed
- The launcher no longer shows the play time.
Install
On 0.1.5 or earlier: accept the update when the launcher offers it.

Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.5
Fixes for the start-up hang, graphics glitches, movies and the gyro. On 0.1.4, the launcher offers this version when it opens.
Fixes
- The game no longer hangs at start-up. About one start in five used to stop before the title screen. The game signals one of its threads before waiting for it, which works on PS4 but could lose the signal on PC. 25 starts out of 25 now reach the title.
- No more one-frame glitches. Large stretched triangles could flash across the screen for a single frame, several times a minute in some places. They came from two of the port's optimizations racing each other; the one that caused it is now off by default (about 4% fewer FPS), and Advanced > GPU and threads can turn it back on.
- No more black flashes in dialogues. They had the same cause and are gone with it.
- Movies play at the right speed with all their subtitles. With a 120 FPS limit, movies ran twice as fast and their subtitles replaced each other early. The game now runs at 60 FPS while a movie plays, as on PS4, and returns to your limit afterwards.
- The gyro no longer turns the view by itself. The controller's small drift is learned while it lies still, and the game's tilt correction now uses the accelerometer. A controller left on the desk now stays within 0.1 degrees, where it used to drift about a degree a second. The sensitivity stays as you set it.
New
- Advanced > GPU and threads in the launcher: GPU readbacks, deferred readbacks, reading without waiting, and the port's threads, each with an explanation. Auto keeps the recommended values.
Known issue
- A short glitch in one episode 1 movie. When Kat breaks through a door, early in episode 1, the lower part of the picture turns into blue stripes for about 0.2 seconds. It is being investigated; the rest of the movie plays normally.
Install
On 0.1.4 or earlier: accept the update when the launcher offers it.

Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.4
Anti-aliasing and upscaling: TAA, FSR 3.1 and DLSS, with Native/DLAA, Quality, Balanced and Performance modes. On 0.1.3, the launcher offers this version when it opens.
New
- Anti-aliasing is a separate setting. The launcher's Video page has its own Anti-aliasing choice, independent of the render resolution: FXAA (the game's own, as on PS4), TAA, FSR 3.1, DLSS or Off.
- TAA, FSR 3.1 and DLSS. They smooth edges over several frames using the game's camera and depth, so thin details such as railings, lamp posts and rooftops stay steady instead of shimmering. Each one replaces the game's FXAA while it runs.
- DLSS is included (NVIDIA RTX cards): nothing to download or copy. On a card without DLSS the game uses FSR 3.1 instead, which works on every card.
- Upscaling modes. With FSR 3.1 or DLSS, pick Native (DLAA for DLSS), Quality, Balanced or Performance. The lower modes draw the game below your screen's size and enlarge it to the screen with detail kept: more FPS on slower graphics cards. The HUD stays as the game draws it. The launcher picks the right sizes for 1080p, 1440p and 4K screens.
- FSR 1.0 ("Simple upscaler") stays available with FXAA, TAA or Off when the render resolution is below the screen.
- Launcher: clearer Video page (Screen, Image quality, Details) that saves itself; the Game page shows the detected game, and lets you turn save backups on or off, choose how many to keep, and make one now; play time in the sidebar; when the game closes unexpectedly, the launcher says what happened.
Fixes
- Frame rate drops while moving Kat and the camera.
- A rare crash in the NVIDIA driver at the end of a frame.
- Startup could hang while DLSS started; it now gives up after a few seconds and uses FSR 3.1.
- Code left over from the projects this port grew from (other games' cheats and options) is gone; the in-game menu (Insert) now has the Image, Performance and Overlay tabs only.
Notes
- The default stays FXAA, as on PS4: nothing changes until you pick another option.
- Occasional small graphics glitches with TAA, FSR 3.1 and DLSS are still being tracked down: press F12 when you see one and send the files.
- DLSS is NVIDIA's, redistributed under its license (THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES/NVIDIA-DLSS-LICENSE.txt).
Install
On 0.1.3 or earlier: accept the update when the launcher offers it.

Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.3
Fixes for problems reported on 0.1.2. On 0.1.2, the launcher offers this version when it opens.
Fixed
- Dialogue backgrounds. In the first dialogues, the portraits appeared over a black background. The game world now shows behind them, darkened and softened as on the PS4. The game draws that background once, when the dialogue starts, and the port skipped that one draw while its graphics pipeline was still compiling. Full-screen draws like this one are now never skipped.
- Refresh rate. The launcher's refresh rate setting was never saved, so the game kept the Windows refresh rate. It is saved now, and it also works in Borderless mode (the default): the monitor switches to the chosen rate while you play, and Windows restores its own rate when the game exits.
- Shadow quality and anisotropic filtering. These launcher settings were not saved either, so the game always used the defaults. Both are saved now.
Install
On 0.1.2 or 0.1.1: accept the update when the launcher offers it. Your saves, settings and mods are kept.
On 0.1.0 or a new install: extract the zip anywhere (not inside the zip itself), open Gravity Rush Launcher.exe, choose your game folder on the Game page, and press Play.
You need your own copy of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4), European release CUSA01113 version 01.00, as an unpacked game folder. You also need Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card.
Coming next
A separate anti-aliasing option, FSR upscaling in the launcher, and work toward DLSS and FSR 3.
Reports and F12 captures are welcome in Issues.
Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.2
The first official release of the native PC port of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4): the game's own code runs on your processor, with no emulator.
What's new
- A new launcher. A clean dark window: the menu sits in a sidebar, pages open beside it, and dialogs never cover the menu. Settings, controls, saves, logs and updates work as before.
- A new icon for the launcher, the game and its window.
- The game opens in its own window, in front. While you play, the launcher waits in the taskbar, and it comes back when the game exits.
- Automatic updates. On 0.1.1, the launcher offers this version when it opens: it downloads the package, checks its SHA-256, replaces the program files and opens again. Your saves (
user\),gravityrush.iniand mods are kept.
Coming from 0.1.0? That version cannot update itself. Download this zip and extract it over your old folder.
Also in 0.1.1, if you skipped it: the menu text is readable at 1440p and 4K, and a guard stops a rare graphics driver crash.
Requirements
- Your own copy of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4), as an unpacked game folder (
eboot.bin,sce_module,sce_sys). Tested with the European release CUSA01113, version 01.00. No game files are included. - Windows 10 (1903 or newer) or Windows 11, 64-bit, and a graphics card with Vulkan 1.3 and a current driver.
Install
- Extract the zip anywhere (not inside the zip itself).
- Open Gravity Rush Launcher.exe, choose your game folder on the Game page, and press Play. Windows may warn that the program is not signed: click More info, then Run anyway.
Known issues
- So far the opening, the first episode and the city have been tested.
- Some fixed camera shots at the start of the game can be framed wrongly (under investigation).
- Echo and reverb effects of the game's sound are not reproduced.
Reports and F12 captures are welcome in Issues. GravityRush-PC-0.1.2-Windows.zip.sha256 holds the package's SHA-256.
Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.1 (preview)
Second preview of the native PC port of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4).
What's new
- Automatic updates. From this version on, the launcher looks for a new release when it opens and asks before installing it. It downloads the package, checks its SHA-256, replaces the program files and opens again. Your saves (
user\),gravityrush.iniand mods are kept. You can turn the check off, or check by hand, in Advanced > Updates.
Coming from 0.1.0? That version cannot update itself: download this zip and extract it over your old folder (or into a new one, then copy youruser\folder andgravityrush.iniacross). - Menu text above 1080p. At 1440p, 1800p and 4K the pause menu lost the text inside its boxes (mission descriptions, map details). The game clips that text to a rectangle sized for a 1920x1080 screen; the resolution patches now scale it with the render resolution.
- Rare graphics driver crash. A crash in the NVIDIA driver (
nvoglv64.dll) was seen twice: once when a movie started, once during a save. The command that caused it, an end of rendering without its begin, is now dropped. If you ever seeScheduler:lines inuser\last_run.log, please attach that file to a report. - Crash reports now give the thread's name and trace back through driver code.
Requirements (same as 0.1.0)
- Your own copy of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4): the European release CUSA01113, version 01.00, as an unpacked game folder (
eboot.bin,sce_module,sce_sys). No game files are included. - Windows 10 (1903 or newer) or Windows 11, 64-bit, and a graphics card with Vulkan 1.3 and a current driver.
Install
Extract the zip anywhere (not inside the zip itself). Open Gravity Rush Launcher.exe, choose your game folder on the Game page, and press Play. Windows may warn that the program is not signed: click More info, then Run anyway.
Known issues
- Some fixed camera shots at the start of the game can be framed wrongly (under investigation).
- Echo and reverb effects of the game's sound are not reproduced.
- Only the opening, the first episode and the city have been tested so far.
Reports and F12 captures are welcome in Issues.
GravityRush-PC-0.1.1-Windows.zip.sha256 holds the package's SHA-256.
Gravity Rush Remastered PC 0.1.0 (preview)
First public preview of the native PC port of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4): the game's own
code runs on your processor, with no emulator. Please read the requirements and known issues
before trying it, and report what you find.
No game files are included. You need your own copy of Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4), as an
unpacked game folder (eboot.bin,sce_module,sce_sys) that you prepare with your own tools.
Requirements
- Windows 10 (1903 or newer) or Windows 11, 64-bit
- A graphics card with Vulkan 1.3 and a current driver
- Gravity Rush Remastered CUSA01113 (European release), version 01.00 — tested version. Other
versions may start, but the resolution and shadow patches only apply to this one.
Install
- Download
GravityRush-PC-0.1.0-Windows.zipbelow and extract it anywhere. - Open Gravity Rush Launcher.exe (Windows may warn that the program is not signed: More info →
Run anyway), choose your game folder on the Game page and press Play. - Next time, Gravity Rush.exe starts the game straight away with the saved settings.
What works
- The story from the opening through episode 1 and the city of Hekseville (the parts played so far)
- Audio: music, ambience, effects and voices (the game's own sound engine), and the movies
- Saves: autosave, manual save and loading; backups before every start
- Controllers (DualSense, DualShock 4, Xbox and others), keyboard and mouse; the DualSense /
DualShock 4 gyro aims the camera like on the PS4; touchpad - Render resolution up to 4K (720p, 1440p, 1800p, 4K), high-quality shadows (4096),
anisotropic filtering, borderless / windowed / fullscreen with a refresh rate choice - A launcher in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish, and an in-game menu
(Insert, or R3 + L2) with image and performance options and an FPS overlay
Known issues
- Some fixed camera shots at the start of the game can be framed wrongly (under investigation; the
gyro is the main suspect — try Motion sensor at its minimum in the game's settings). - A rare crash in the graphics command recorder has been seen once in a long session.
- Echo and reverb effects of the game's sound are not reproduced (the dry sound plays).
- Online features (PSN) are not available.
- Tested on one PC (Windows 11, NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti): other hardware is exactly what this preview
needs feedback on.
