# Download steward-fu's Miyoo Mini+ toolchain (around 700 MB):
toolchainUrl="https://github.com/steward-fu/website/releases/download/miyoo-mini-plus/toolchain.tar.gz"
archiveName="mmiyoo_toolchain.tar.gz"

wget \
    --output-document="$archiveName" \
    "$toolchainUrl"

# Extract the archive into a TEMP directory:
temporaryDirectory="$(mktemp --directory)"

tar \
    --extract \
    --verbose \
    --gzip \
    --file="$archiveName" \
    --directory="$temporaryDirectory"

# Move the extracted toolchain folders into '/opt'
# 'mmiyoo' contains Miyoo-specific tools and target files:
sudo mv "$temporaryDirectory/mmiyoo" /opt/
# 'prebuilt' contains the ARM cross-compiler toolchain:
sudo mv "$temporaryDirectory/prebuilt" /opt/

# Make the toolchain binaries available in the current Shell session and future Bash sessions:
export PATH="/opt/mmiyoo/bin:$PATH"
printf '\nexport PATH="/opt/mmiyoo/bin:$PATH"\n' >> "$HOME/.bashrc"

# Remove the downloaded archive and the TEMP directory:
rm \
    --recursive \
    --force \
    "$archiveName" \
    "$temporaryDirectory"

Optional Steps

Verify the expected directories are installed:

ls \
    --format=single-column \
    /opt \
    | grep \
        --extended-regexp \
        '^(mmiyoo|prebuilt)$'
  mmiyoo
  prebuilt
