The editorial index duplicated the topic row list below and wasted vertical space. Keeps the dark-mode elevation fix (already on main).

Reverts the homepage back to the original card layout — the numbered editorial index wasted vertical space and duplicated the topic row list further down the page.
The dark-mode dialog elevation fix from #44 stays untouched on main.
