Requires: macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Nothing else to install.
What's new since 1.0

- Drag and drop a file onto the Backup tab
- Convert to Match: one click converts your backup to your live stream's format
- Fix: applying changes could occasionally freeze the server
Known limitations
- No HTTPS for listeners yet (plain HTTP only)
- Tested on macOS 27, 26 Tahoe and 15 Sequoia; macOS 13 and 14 are untested

What's new since beta 5
- Looks right on macOS 15 Sequoia and earlier: the app name no longer appears twice at the top of the window, and the Start/Stop Server button and explanatory text are laid out properly
- Explanatory text is one size on every macOS version, a little larger than before
- Help menu: links to the LogiKast website, Report a Problem, and the Icecast documentation replace the empty "LogiKast Help" item
- Shorter notes on the Share tab, so it fits the smallest window

What's new since beta 4
- A clearer window: the app name and the selected item are shown at the top, and the sidebar shows each mount's status and listeners at a glance, with the app version at the bottom (click it for About)
- Start Server / Stop Server is now a labeled button
- Delete a mount from the sidebar (the − button, right-click, or the Delete key), with a warning first
- Server tabs reorganized: Setup (network, passwords, contact details) and Limits; "Open LogiKast when I log in" moved to App & Log
- Mount tabs: Stream Info is now the second tab
- Links to encoder apps show a hand cursor and underline when you point at them
- The website player note on the Share tab now says the player works only on http:// pages
Known limitations in this beta

Updating from beta 3: LogiKast offers the update itself (Server › Updates), or replace the app by hand. Either way, restart the server once from Server › Restart Server… so it runs the fixed Icecast.
Requires: macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Nothing else to install.
What's new since beta 3
- Fixed a crash in Icecast's web admin: opening the admin Dashboard (the "Icecast Server administration" link) stopped the server for a moment, dropping streams and listeners until it restarted itself. The Dashboard now opens normally.
Known limitations in this beta
- No HTTPS for listeners yet (plain HTTP only)
- Tested on macOS 27, 26 Tahoe and 15 Sequoia; macOS 13 and 14 are untested

Requires: macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Nothing else to install.
What's new since beta 2
- Software updates: LogiKast checks for updates by itself (Server › Updates), with a Check for Updates… command and a switch to include beta versions. Beta 2 can't update itself, so this one needs a manual install.
- Help › Version Notes (or Beta Version Notes) shows the release notes from the update feed
- Fixed Icecast using 100% CPU while an app or browser kept an idle connection open
- Server start-up fixes: a leftover Icecast from an older copy is stopped before the server starts, a port already in use is named instead of a vague error, and the listener limit can no longer produce a configuration Icecast complains about
- The About window credits Icecast and the bundled libraries, with their licenses
- Fixed menus (such as Window) changing while they were open
Known limitations in this beta
- No HTTPS for listeners yet (plain HTTP only)
- Tested on macOS 27, 26 Tahoe and 15 Sequoia; macOS 13 and 14 are untested
