Commands
These commands are available in Wahventory Refresh Fork 20.0.0.6 and later.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/wahventory |
Toggle the main window. |
/wahventory refresh |
Rescan inventory and update categories, safety assessments, and cached price information. Works with the window closed. |
/wahventory auto |
Discard eligible items on your configured auto-discard list, using the existing item protections. |
/wahventory status |
Print the latest refresh and discard operation numbers, results, and confirmed progress. |
Subcommands ignore case and surrounding spaces. Unrecognized arguments toggle the main window.
/wahventory refresh reports RUNNING, then DONE after the inventory scan, safety assessment, and categorization finish. The inventory scan completes before the command returns.
From 20.0.0.8, if either market-price filter is enabled, DONE also waits for the current price requests to finish. Discarding with price filters excludes unavailable prices. Without a price filter, market-price requests may continue in the background after DONE.
Refresh reports FAILED if the character or inventory is unavailable, or a discard operation is still active. Wait until the character is ready and the discard finishes, then retry.
Add items through the Lists window before using /wahventory auto. The configured list is treated as approval to discard those items; blacklist and existing safety protections still apply.
Auto-discard refreshes inventory before selecting eligible items. A separate /wahventory refresh is useful when you want to update the inventory view without starting a discard.
The command starts a queue and returns while discarding continues. Progress increases only after the confirmation dialog closes and the original inventory slot no longer contains the queued item. DONE is reported after every queued stack has been confirmed.
-
No eligible items: finishes immediately with
DONEand0/0. -
Empty configured list: reports
FAILED; add items in Lists first. - Another discard is active: refuses the new request and keeps the existing queue.
-
Discard error, missing inventory, or confirmation timeout: reports
FAILEDrather than treating the queue as complete. -
Cancelled queue or plugin unload: reports
CANCELLEDfor active work.
/wahventory status prints one line for refresh and one for discard. Each line includes the operation number, state, progress, and any result message.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
IDLE |
No operation has started since the plugin loaded. |
RUNNING |
Work is active or a discard queue has been prepared. |
DONE |
The operation finished successfully, including an empty eligible discard queue. |
FAILED |
The operation could not start or finish; the message explains why. |
CANCELLED |
Active work was cancelled. |
Discard progress counts inventory stacks, not individual items within a stack. Refresh does not track stack progress, so its 0/0 count does not mean your inventory is empty.
Operation numbers increase separately for refresh and discard, and reset when the plugin reloads. A completed operation keeps its terminal result until the next operation starts.
Right-click an item in your inventory or Armoury Chest. Open Wahventory, marked with a boxed W at the bottom of the context menu.

|---|---|
| Add to wahventory discard list | Add this item type to the auto-discard list. Unavailable if it is already listed or blacklisted. |
| Add to wahventory blacklist | Protect this item type, remove it from the discard list, and clear its current selection. |
The blacklist takes precedence: blacklisted items cannot be selected or added for discard. These rules also apply in the plugin window, to synced lists, and to restored backups. Existing saved conflicts are resolved in favor of the blacklist. List entries cover normal and HQ copies of the item type.
Adding an item does not start a discard command. Existing passive auto-discard settings continue to work with the configured list. Existing safety filters still apply.
Choices are disabled while a discard is active or list sync locks editing. Use Lists in the plugin window to remove existing entries.
The sidebar's Market price > and Market price < controls show matching items in gil per item. For example, < 500 shows unit prices below 500 gil and > 1000 shows unit prices above 1,000 gil. Both enabled conditions use either match. Controls remain disabled until the current price refresh finishes. Settings > Market Prices > Price method selects current listings or sale averages. See the market price guide for sources, freshness and unavailable-price handling.
