Installation Options

  • Installer (Clippy-Setup.exe): Recommended. Installs Clippy with desktop/start menu shortcuts, autostart support, and silent one-click updates.
  • Portable archive (Clippy-win-x64.zip): Standalone zero-install folder. Extract anywhere and launch Clippy.exe.

NVENC + Media Foundation work out of the box with no third-party dependencies (ffmpeg is not required).

Hotkeys: F8 — 30 seconds, F9 — 3 minutes.
Clips go to clips/, debug logs to logs/.

What's New

Performance

  • Capture rate capped at 60 fps and the NVENC preset lowered to P1 — about 3% GPU load.

Fixed

  • If the silent update launch fails, the interactive installer opens instead (GUI fallback).
