Added 馃殌

  • Declarations in the dependency view: a file of a map that carries declarations opens on a double click into its classes, functions and other declarations, and is drawn as a small stack while it is closed.
  • Inspector in the dependency view: an inspector beside the graph explains the selected file, declaration, folder, package or edge with what it uses, what uses it, its cycles and upward dependencies, in sections that open on a click, and marks in the graph the boxes of what the pointer rests on in it.
  • Badges in the dependency view: badges on a closed box count the cycles that stay inside single files, the cycles between different files and the upward dependencies it hides, the Badges card switches each of them on and off and shows the ones it keeps, and a click on a badge lists what it counts in the inspector.
  • Folders or packages in the dependency view: a map that declares packages can nest its files in those packages instead of their folders.
  • Kinds of use in the dependency view: the dashes and arrowhead of an edge can tell how one declaration uses the other, such as inheriting from it or creating it.
  • Edge colours in the dependency view: the colours of the four edge types can be changed.
  • Keyboard in the dependency view: the boxes of the graph can be reached with the Tab key, walked through with the arrow keys, selected with Enter and opened or closed with Space.
  • Panning the dependency view: holding Space or dragging with the right mouse button pans from anywhere in the graph, also from a box that a drag would otherwise move.
  • Resizable inspector: the inspector of every view is resized by dragging its left edge, and a double click on that edge brings the default width back.
  • Steady view in the dependency view: a box that is opened or closed keeps its place on screen, and an opened box that does not fit is brought into view whole.

Changed

  • Dependency view: the view is no longer experimental, so its tab appears for every map with dependency data without switching it on in the global configuration first.
  • Focus in the dependency view: focusing a folder or leaving it again keeps the boxes you opened and moved, and leaving it shows that folder where it lies in the whole graph.
  • Edges shown in the dependency view: the graph starts with the edges in cycles and those pointing upward, without the plain dependencies, a reset button brings that choice back, a checkbox holds the edges shown for the box under the pointer to that choice too, and the card shows the lines of the edges shown instead of their names.
  • Tooltips in the dependency view: the tooltip of a folder, file or package names it by its own name instead of its whole path.
  • Edge styles in the dependency view: edges are drawn combined, spread or aside, combined and spread with curved or straight lines, aside now bows downward edges out to the left as it bows upward ones out to the right, and one window holds every setting of the edge style.

Removed

  • Level labels by path in the dependency view: the levels are labelled by their own number alone.

Fixed 馃悶

  • Zooming out in the dependency view after closing a box: the graph stays in the middle and can still be moved, instead of getting stuck in a corner until the whole graph is shown again.
