This patch synchronizes the version with the separately maintained Play edition. Public functional code is unchanged from 1.8.0. It retains the high-resolution scan support, reduced cleanup memory use, durable PDF/image saving, process-restoration fixes and scrollable editing controls.
Install app-github-release.apk on Android 10+. Google Play services are required for scanning and recognition modules. The AAB and R8 mapping are developer/diagnostic artifacts, not directly installable downloads.

Public JVM tests, lint, signed artifact checks and GitHub CI passed. Artifact checks covered package/version, signing certificate, permissions, license text, source revision, and absence of monetization SDKs. The inherited scan/save/OCR/redaction/share flows were tested on Huawei Android 10 for 1.8.0; no new device validation is claimed for this metadata-only patch.
