Day 6
Today was all about testing, troubleshooting, and preparing for our final presentation. We began by testing all four motors together for the first time. During testing, we noticed that one wheel was spinning much slower than the others and wasn't getting enough power. After investigating the issue and adjusting the voltage, the motor started working properly and all four wheels ran smoothly.
Once the drive system was working, we 3D printed a custom case to hold the electronic components securely on the arm. It was satisfying to see another part of the design move from a digital model to a physical component.
With the hardware coming together, we spent the rest of the day preparing for Pitch Day. We organized our work, reviewed our progress, and got ready to present the journey of building NeuroDrive from the initial idea to a functioning EMG-controlled robot car.
Today felt like a major milestone, as we could finally see all our hard work coming together into a complete project.
