1.21 paces the game at the CPS-3 arcade rate instead of a locked 60.
The game thread waits one CPS-3 refresh per frame: MAME's sfiii3 screen, a pixel clock of 8,590,909 Hz, 546 dots by 264 lines. That is 8590909 / (546 × 264) = 59.599491 Hz. The leftover fraction of each nanosecond step is kept, so a long run stays on that ratio. The render thread, the disc and sound workers, input, and rollback are unchanged.
Music still takes 1/60 of a second of samples per frame, and sound effects are still counted at 60 frames a second, so a stem or a voice still ends on the same frame as before. Checked against the 60,000-frame sync replay: every compared frame matched.
To update a PC install, replace the program (and, on Linux, lib/) and keep data/ and config/. The Android package is signed like 1.2, so it installs over it.
