✨ New

Duplicate tasks and projects (#185) — use Duplicate or ⌘D / Ctrl+D to make an unfinished copy beside the original, keeping its dates, tags and attachments. A copied project includes its headings, tasks and subtasks; several selected tasks can be copied together.

A toolbar for the task you're editing (#188) — expanding a task brings up Move / Delete / More at the bottom, with repeat, duplicate and convert-to-project actions close at hand. On mobile, it takes the place of the add button.

Deadlines in Today, and a Deadlines list (#199) — tasks and projects with a deadline today or earlier now appear in Today, even if they're planned for later. Find Deadlines through Quick Find to see everything with a deadline, earliest first. Repeating tasks also carry their deadlines forward to the next occurrence.

⚡ Improved

  • "New in Today" stays until you acknowledge it — new arrivals keep their usual position with a yellow dot. Use the banner's OK button to clear all markers, or open, edit or drag an item to acknowledge it individually; this syncs across devices (#197)
  • Startup and navigation are faster, with smaller initial downloads and pages prepared before you open them (#190, #192)
  • Project and area headers show tag names and clearer date badges. Review dates use blue, while red is reserved for deadlines (#186)
  • Completed tasks and archived headings are sorted by completion or archive time, newest first (#187)
  • Android Quick Add uses the same task card as desktop, with the same field pickers (#193)
  • Mobile item menus open as bottom sheets, with larger touch targets (#194)
  • The desktop window has a unified top edge, with the sidebar and assistant backgrounds extending behind the window controls (#198)
  • The README has new screenshots and simpler download and self-hosting instructions (#189)

🐛 Fixed

  • Android builds no longer fail because attachment providers conflict (#184)
  • Today's new-arrival markers refresh after midnight, a time-zone change or returning to the app (#191)
  • The mobile review toolbar fits on narrow screens (#195)
  • The Android launcher icon is sized correctly inside its mask (#196)
