- Install Unified Train Logistics (0.0.20 or newer) and UTL Coupling Yard.
- Build a train stop, open its UTL station window and pick the role Wagon yard (below the UTL roles).
- Choose the mode: Leave and pick up wagons, Only leave wagons or Only pick up wagons.
- Send a train there (schedule or UTL delivery). It stops, the mod uncouples or couples, and the train carries on with its schedule.
What the roles do:
| Role | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Wagon yard | Trains leave wagons here or pick them up. Optional: shunt the wagons on to another wagon yard. |
| Shunting depot | Home of shunting locomotives (at least one locomotive facing each way). UTL never dispatches them. |
| Turnaround | Shunting locomotives change direction here when they need to. |
